Chapter 4: Best Friends?

Tianas P.O.V
*4 months later*

It's been 4 months into the school year and Callie and I have become such great friends. Same with Michael. My grades have gone from D's to A's. I'd say that's pretty good. This school is almost perfect, the only thing that's bugging me is Calum. You see, he kissed me 4 months ago and I ran out of the music room. I think I still like Calum but I don't know if he still likes me.

Calum's P.O.V.

I've become good friends with Ashton and Luke. I know that they are best friends with Tiana, who I have been in love with for the past 4 months! I don't know how to let her know.

I hid in the janitor's closet waiting for Luke, Ashton, Michael or Callie. Later I saw Luke walking by so I grabbed his arm and pulled him in and locked the door.

"DUDE WHAT THE HELL?!" Luke shouts at me. I shush him so I can finally ask him if Tiana likes anyone.

"Sorry but I need to ask you an important question Luke," I say nervously.

"I'm flattered Calum but I have a girlfriend so-," Luke says being cut off by me.

"You dipshit, I wasn't asking you out," I say almost laughing.

"Okay good because that would have been awkward," Luke says laughing, almost sounding relieved.

"Does....Um Tiana have a boyfriend? Or does she like anyone?" I say hoping he would tell me the truth.

Luke stares at me for a few seconds in confusion, then finally replies.

"Do you like Tiana?" he asks with his eyes full of wonder.

"No not 'like', more like 'love' her," I say starting to sweat.

"I don't know if she likes anyone but I can tell you for sure she doesn't have a boyfriend...I think," Luke says hoping to answer my question so he can leave.

"Okay thanks," I said sounding a little upset that he didn't know.

Tiana's P.O.V

Calum and I have history class together, and we have to sit next to each other. IT'S SO AWKWARD.

"Alright students, I'll tell you who your partners are for your projects representing the 'Boston Massacre' and you will work in groups of two," Mrs. Walsh says loudly making sure we all hear her. "Betty & John, Emily & Luke, Ashton & Jordan, Nick & Blake, Chloe & Drew, Callie & Michael, Serena & Amy, Tiana & Calum."

As soon as she says me & Calum, my heart drops to my stomach, and I feel like I can't move. Calum looks at me smiling.

"Hey you wanna come over to my house today to work on the project?" he says nervously smiling.

"Yeah sure I'll give you my number," I said hoping Holly wouldn't turn my life to total hell.
