Chapter 16: Beside You

Calum's P.O.V.

I can't believe it. I fucked it all up. Tiana was supposed to go on tour and she just started and now she probably can't and it's all my fault. I ruined everything for her. I hate myself right now. I am such a fuck up.

"It's not your fault the condom broke, Calum," says Michael. The tears are running down my face. I can't stop it, I've cried a river and I keep punching myself.

"The media won't stop talking about Tiana's performance yesterday," says Ashton showing me the report on his phone.

"I ruined everything for her and us," I said covering my face with my hands.

"You didn't mean to, Calum," says Luke.

Tiana's P.O.V.

Callie was comforting me. She kept trying to tell me it's gonna be fine and that they will all be here for me. But I can't say my family will react the same way.

Mom is going to kill me.

I'm pregnant.

With Calum's baby?

WHERE IS HE? I'M GOING TO KILL HIM.

Yes it's Calum's baby but Frankie I want you to leave him alone. It's not his fault.

Okay .... We won't tell mom if you don't want us to.

~Text to Katie, Frankie
Thank you guys I love you I have to tell her myself.

"I told Katie and Frankie," I say nervously to Callie.

"And?" she says hoping for a positive answer. I handed her my phone to show her the texts. "I think we should take the quickest flight back to San Diego and tell your mom," Callie says being serious.

"But I'm pregnant" I say in a worried tone.

"You'll be okay," says Callie pulling me into a hug.

*The next day*

Me, Callie and Calum were on a flight to San Diego. I was so fucking scared.
We had finally landed after 4 hours. Calum grabbed my hand and walked with me while carrying my suitcase. Callie ran up next to us.

"Forgetting someone are we?" she says with her arms crossed.

"Sorry," Calum giggled.

Calum's P.O.V.

We took the shuttle to the nearest car rental place. After I got the car I drove Tiana and Callie to her house. I was shaking and I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even begin to imagine what her mother would say. But I mean Tiana is 18 she is allowed to have control over her own life.

"Here we are," says Callie. "I'll go in first and make sure her mom is home," says Callie smiling at us. I watched Callie as she walked up the driveway and knocked on the door. She stood there for a minute when a guy I never saw before opened the door and let her in.

"Who's that guy?" I asked Tiana.

"My older brother Frankie," she says sounding tired. SHE HAD AN OLDER BROTHER?!?! I was sure he was gonna beat the shit out of me, which made me even more nervous.

K Calum her mom is home and I got everyone in the living room come in whenever your ready.

~Text to Callie
Okay I'm coming in.

I held Tiana's hand and walked with her. She looked so terrified.

"You'll be okay," I tell her and kiss her forehead. Callie opened the door and walked us in. "Hello Ms. Smith," I say nervously.

"Hello Calum it's nice to see you again." She came over giving Tiana a hug. "Have you gained a little weight Tiana?" she says chuckling. "What's wrong sweetie?" Ms. Smith says noticing that Tiana looked down in tears. "Tiana darling are you okay?" she says looking worried. I sat down with with her holding her hand. Callie sat next to Katie and Frankie waiting for her to tell them the news.

Tiana's P.O.V.

I couldn't look at my mom and tell her. My vision was blurry due to the tears running down my face. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Mom I'm pregnant.." I say crying uncontrollably. I opened my eyes to see my mom smiling at me in tears.

I stood up and she came and hugged me.

"My little girl is all grown up and having her own children," she says. I wiped my tears.

"You're not mad at me?" I ask happily.

"Of course not. But you and Calum are getting married right? I won't allow you to have a child with a guy you're not married to," she says crossing her arms. I turned around to see Calum smiling.

"I can promise you Ms. Smith, I'm in love with your daughter. She's the reason I wake up happy everyday. She's the sweetest girl on the earth. I've had other girlfriends but they never meant as much to me as Tiana does. She gives me chills whenever I kiss her. I get this feeling I can't explain and there's no one I'd be with than Tiana," he says grabbing my hand and kissing my cheek.

I see Callie, Katie and my mom tearing up and clapping. My brother came and said, "Welcome to the family Calum!" and pulled him into a hug.

I was so happy with what happened, but Calum is 19 and I'm 18. We're too young to get married. But I still love him and I always will.
