~ First day at our new high school.

Luke and Ashton have been my best friends since preschool. Today is our first day at Riverside High. The three of us are transferring to a new school since some bad things happened at our last one.
"Tiana wake up," my older sister Katie says rudely.
"I'm up save your breath," I snap.

I grab my bag and run out the door to see Luke and Ashton waiting for me in their car.
"Hey sleepy head," Ashton says with a smirk.
"You don't look too happy; are you okay?" Luke says sounding a little worried.
"I'm fine...Honest," I say quietly. Even though I really wasn't fine. Everyone knows the new kids get bullied first, even if we were seniors. Which we are.

"Here goes nothing," I say in a whisper hoping they wouldn't hear but I failed.
"It's gonna be fine, I mean it's high school. What's the worst that could happen?" says Ashton with a little smile on his face, as if he's actually happy to be here.
"Actually, a lot of bad things could happen," I say in a scared tone.
"Yeah but we will be next to you all the time okay?" says Luke hoping to make me feel a little bit better.
