Chapter 20: Memories

Calum's P.O.V

Last thing I remember was that I was beating the shit out of Dylan and then I got shot. I woke up in a hospital bed. I heard crying outside the room and I knew right away it was Tiana. The doctors came in and pushed my bed to another room. I saw Tiana but I felt like I couldn't talk.

"20-year-old Calum Hood ready for surgery," I heard a nurse say. Surgery? I didn't understand. By now many doctors were surrounding me. They put a mask on me and counted back from 5. As soon as he got to 1 I was once again unconscious.

Tianas P.O.V

I couldn't stop crying. Ashton took me and walked to the desk.

"Excuse me can we get an update on Calum Hood?" he asked pointing at me. Obviously showing her I knew him.

"I'm sorry but I can't give out information unless your family," she said in an angry tone.

"But she's his girlfriend," he said more sternly.

"Calum is currently in surgery," she said not even looking at us. We walked away.

"You need anything?" Callie asked giving me a hug.

"If you could get me some water that would be great," I said trying to stop the tears.

"Alright I'll be right back," she said walking away. I sat down with the guys still crying my heart out.

"What if he's not okay?" I said sobbing even harder at the thought.

"Don't say that he will be fine Tiana I promise," said Luke bringing me in for a hug. He looked so depressed.

I started to fiddle with the promise ring he gave me and started to think of me and Calum.

*Flashback to last year*

"Calum I don't want to it's cold!"

"C'mon I'll hold you."

"CALUM PUT ME DOWN!" I said laughing. We ran into the cold ocean together. We couldn't stop laughing.

*Present Day*

"Tiana? Hello? Girl where's your mind at? I got your water," I heard Callie saying which snapped me out of my thoughts. She sat next to me and smiled. "Calum will be fine," she said. She got up and went over to the coffee machine.

*Flashback to last month*

"Calum have you seen my shirt anywhere?" I said looking on the ground.

"Nah but you can have mine," he said taking off his shirt. "You look cute in my stuff."

"Okay I'll wear it," I put in his shirt which reached just above my knees.

*Present Day*

I kept hearing his voice echo in my head

"I love you Tiana."

It hurts so much.

*3 Hours later*

"Tiana Smith?" A doctor called out.

"That's me is Calum alright?" I said hopeful.

"He's just fine, he's all done with surgery and you can visit him once we get him stable," the doctor said smiling.

"Okay thank you," I said with tears of joy spilling out.

"If you hadn't brought him here he could have been gone," he said walking away. My stomach dropped at the thought of that.

It was time for us to see Calum. We all walked in. They all let me walk in first to see him. He was waking up and his eyes were slightly open. I could tell he was confused about what was happening.

"Calum it's me," I said holding his hand and sitting next to him. He didn't respond and tears were about to fall out. "Calum?" I said quietly letting the tears escape my eye.

"Tiana?"
