Chapter 9: Best Night

Tianas P.O.V

I waved goodbye to Calum and grabbed my keys out of my handbag and opened the door. I walk into the kitchen to find my mom and Callie sitting at the table drinking tea and talking.

"What the-" I say getting cut off my my mother.

"Hello Tiana," my mom said walking up to me smiling.

"Did you have a good night?" she asks.

"Yeah it was great," I say back.

"Thanks for the tea Mrs. Smith," Callie says giving my mom a hug.

Callie grabs my arm and pulls me upstairs.

"Tell me what happened! Oh god this is gonna be awesome," she said jumping on my bed hugging a blue pillow she got me for my birthday last month. I sit next to her and tell her everything.

"Well we went to the Olive Garden and-" I get cut of by a jumpy Callie.

"Yeah yeah I know where you guys went get to the date part," she said laughing.

"Okay okay," I tell her trying not to crack up. "So when we got there, I told him he was cute. So he told me that I was even more cute, and I started blushing like crazy." I say slightly blushing remembering the moment. "Then when we paid the waiter tried to give me his number-" I get cut off again by Callie gasping.

"Holy shit did Calum go all defense and punch him?" she says hoping she's right.

"No," I tell her giggling.

"So then what did he do?" she asks with wonder.

"Well I told Calum I'm not gonna call him," I say looking down.

"And?" she says confused. I start laughing and she looks at me like an idiot.

"What do I have something on my face?" she asks looking in a mirror.

"No no it's what Calum did." She looks at me confused. "When we walked out the restaurant, he started singing 'Steal My Girl' and it was so funny," I said laughing so hard.

"Oh my god Calum," Callie said laughing and shaking her said.

"Then when we got to the car he said he loves me," Callie stood up and gasped so hard I thought she choked. Both of her hands covered her mouth. She stood up on my bed and shouted really loud.

"CALUM DROPPED THE L BOMB!!" she said still in complete shock but still happy for me. She jumps down and hugs me.

I invited Callie to sleep over and we started talking about colleges. Obviously it was senior year we had to talk about it sometime.

"I wanna go MIT to study computer science. I'm really interested in that kinda stuff," Callie said smiling. "But Harvard has a degree program so I might apply there," she said looking so stressed out. I honestly never thought about college or which one I wanted to go to. I'm into singing and performing arts.

"I might apply to MCLA," I say. Callie looks up to me in a surprised way.

"You're into English?" she said.

"Yeah of course," I say smiling. "Cool that's a nice choice," she said.

There was a knock on my bedroom door. We were watching 'New Girl'. I thought it was my mom but It was Michael.

"Hey there you are Callie," he said sitting next to her kissing her. I wish Calum was here now so this wouldn't be to awkward. "Hey how are things with you and Calum?" Michael asks curiously.

"Really good," I say smiling back.

I need to know how to explain to them that I'm releasing an album soon. 'My Everything'.
