Chapter 24: Like No Other

Tiana's P.O.V.

It was late... around midnight to be exact. Calum and I were sitting on the couch, just talking. His arm was wrapped around me and I rested my head against his chest.

I swear, I've never felt so in love. With Anthony, I didn't feel like this. I loved him... or I thought I did... but I didn't feel as ecstatic as I do with Calum.

"Look, Tiana," he says, in a really calm tone, "I know I screwed up. I really shouldn't have done that, I wasn't even thinking straight. In my heart, I knew you were the one. But you know what happens when you get drunk. You don't think. I wasn't thinking at all. I love you, Tiana. I'm sorry for that night. I've been sorry about it for 3 years."

I started to tear up, and I didn't know why. It's just the way he says things... he puts a lot of meaning into his words. I love that about him.

"I really do hope that I have the opportunity to stay with you forever..." I say, now crying tears of joy. "I love you, Cal."

"I love you more, Tiana," he says, and I roll my eyes.

"Bullshit, I love YOU more."

"I'm not so sure you do," he says. He then kisses me passionately, and I kiss him back.

"I love you most, Calum... I do," I say, as I fall asleep on his chest.

Calum's P.O.V.

It was about 4:30 pm, and Tiana had left to record in her studio. That's when I got an idea.

I decide to call Callie and the guys to make a plan about proposing to Tiana. I had bought a ring, and I've been hiding it from Tiana for about a week now. I called Callie and the guys, and at about 5:30 pm, I hear a knock on my door.

"CALUM!"

From the voice, I know it's Callie who's talking. I open the door, and everyone's standing on my patio.

"Come in, guys," I tell them. They all walk in and sit on the couch.

"Why are we here?" Michael asks in a kind of grumpy voice.

"We need to plan a surprise for my proposal to Tiana," I say.

"PROPOSAL?! HOLY SHIT, I'MSO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS!" Callie said smiling bigger then ever before.

"Alright, so what do you have in mind?" Ashton asks.

"I was thinking, since we're all going on vacation to Florida soon, we could go to the beach, and I could propose to her on the beach," I say. They all nod their heads in a way that said 'not bad, mate.'

"Wait, how about you do it in the water?" Callie asks. I look at her like she just said something crazy. "You idiot, not all the way out there. You know, where the tides come in."

"That's not a bad idea!" Luke says.

"Make sure it's during the night time," Michael says.

"I didn't even think of that. Thanks guys!" I say in excitement. We all hang out in the house for a few hours. That is until I hear a car door.

Tiana's P.O.V.

I walk out of my car, noticing that Callie, Luke, Michael and Ashton are coming out.

"Uh, what are you guys doing here?" I ask in a curious tone.

"Calum needed to borrow a few things from us," Callie says. They all get in their cars and leave.
