The guard takes us and puts us on the train and I'm instantly overwhelmed by the expensive looking plates and silverware on the table. There is tones of alcohol all around the train and food is placed on the table. The two Avoxe's are standing by booth of the door's watching us intensely like we are about to do something.

Joe and I sit in uncomfortable silence until he speaks up,

"What? Why are you looking at us like that!?" Joe asks the women.

The women just looks back at him and I realized this women is probably an Avox.

"She can't talk. She is an Avox." I said.

"What the hell is an Avox?" Joe asks.

"They are servants to the President and the Capital who get out of line." A voice suddenly speaks making Joe and I jump.

We turn to see a women wearing colorful clothes and her hair is bright colored yellow.

"We put them in their place by taking out their tongue's as punishment. And I would think twice about what you say from now on but cutting out your tongue is nothing compared to what you two are going to experience in the up coming week." The women said walking over and sitting down grabbing a glass cut and alcohol on the table.

"I'm guessing you are going to be our mentor." I said.

"That would be correct. I would listen closely to her if you want to survive." The women said looking over at Joe.

"My name is Liberty Trinket. I'm going to be your mentor." The women said.

Trinket.

That name sounds familiar.

"I will be playing all of the past kills on that screen and all of the past winners and how they won. You better pay close attention to it. Your lives are on the line." Liberty said.

We watched the last Victor's of District Nine, and Liberty was asking us questions on how the tributes where killed and how the Victor's where able to able to duck on incoming attacking and quickly beaten their opponents and killed then with ease.

Suddenly a peacekeeper coming storming into the train cabin,

"Stop the television and get down on the ground!" He ordered.

Joe, Liberty and I got onto the ground.

"Avox's! Close the blinds and get away from the windows." The man orders

The Avox's did as they where told and the inside of the train gets dark. We all sit in silence at we wait for what ever is going to happen until suddenly we hear banging from the outside of the train.

Who is that attacking?

Is it District 13? They must know I've been reaped into the games and are trying to get me out?

The banging gets slightly louder then suddenly stopped completely. We wait for a few more seconds,

"Avox's you can open the blinds now." The head peacekeeper said.

The Avox's opened the blinds and looked out the windows, they signed to a nearest peacekeeper.

"They said the outside of the train has been severely damaged. But they didn't break through to the train and the windows are cracked but luckily the windows didn't break from being bullet proof." Another peacekeeper said.

"Good. We will be on high alert until we get to the train station and we will immediately take the tributes up to their rooms." The head guard said.

"Of course. Thank you for all of your help." Liberty said to them and they walked away.

Liberty turned to Joe and I,

"You both should try and get some sleep. We won't be arriving to the Capital until tomorrow morning." Liberty said getting up and walking to her carriage.

Joe and I looked at each other and I walked to our rooms.

The next morning we finally arrive in the Capital and walk onto Mace station. The people here are wearing nice fancy clothes, all of their outfits are bright and colorful. The streets here look so lean and all of the plants are nicely trimmed. I look at the stores here and they are all high end expensive quality like Gucci and Loui Vuitton.

The people on the streets see our car and recognized its a car that is used to travel the tributes. They all start cheering and waving.

"Look! Tributes!" One Capital citizen shouts.

A small crowd of Capital citizens surrounded us shaking our hands and asking for photos and autographs. Joe and I look over at Cymbeline and Liberty suspiciously as to why they are so excited to see us. Cymbeline just gave me a nod and gestures me to talk to them.

Joe and I take pictures with them on their Capital phone's and sign autographs. Some are holding small figurines of past tribes.

"What district are you from?" One young Capital citizens girl asks.

"District Nine grain." I said.

"What do they do there again daddy?" She asks looking up at her wealthy looking father wearing expensive designer clothes.

"They produce bread, peanuts, rice, oats, wheat. Stuff to produce food." The man said.

"Oh." The kid replied soon losing interest in the conversation.

Why are they so excited to see us? Why aren't they helping us? Why do these people like the games so much?

I get many compliments about how pretty I looked for coming from "District Nine." And many girls where surrounded by Joe taking many pictures with him and I hear them comment at how attractive Joe looks at well.

We walk into the tributes hotel and we get into an elevator and it stops at our floor. We step out and dozens of peacekeepers are all scattered through the whole floor.

Liberty walks us to our hotel room,

"This is our room." She said as we walked in.
