(Taylor's Perspective)

"Welcome to your new home for the next few days." Liberty said happily opening up the double front doors walking into the huge training center apartment building.

Oh wow.

I look over at Joe and he is looking around the house like he is fine with this? Why hasn't he said a word to me yet?

"Follow me and I'll show you the tour." Liberty said and we followed her down the haul to the right.

I've never seen apartment this big before.

"I have to go cook dinner now. Now you two don't be a stranger now. Go on where ever you like in the house." Liberty said and went off into the kitchen.

Should I talk to him now? We are alone.

As I was just about to speak up Joe walked off into the apartment somewhere.

Great communication skills Taylor.

I run to try to catch up to Joe but I have no idea where he went. I walked around the house for it seems like a half hour until I see him in the one of the guest bedrooms sitting on a couch next to a window looking outside.

The more I look at him the more I'm starting to feel attractive to him.

Why I'm I feeling for him already? I hardly know him.

Maybe now we can try to bond more together here in the house before the games.

"Hello." I said making him jump and turns around to look at me.

Wow. He is the most gorgeous person I've ever seen.

His eyes are so blue.

"Um...my name is Taylor Swift." I said reaching my hand out for him to shake.

"Hello. I'm Joe Alwyn." He said with a thick British accent.

Wow. Is he from The New Panem?

"Are you from The New Panem? I've only heard of that place from school." I said

"Yeah I was born and raised there until my family moved here." Joe said.

"Why did your family move here? I thought only members of the Capital can fly from The New Capital and here." I said.

An Avox's brought us food and drinks and Joe stops talking until the Avox's leaves. Joe didn't answer my question and started to eat the move.

Okay I guess he doesn't want to answer that question.

"How come we never met in District 9?" I asked.

"I don't know. District 9 is big." Joe said.

"Do you have family in district 9?" I asked.

"Yes. I can't stop thinking of them. I'll probably never see my family ever again." Joe said sadly and he looks down at the ground.

"I realized that as well. I'll never see my brother and mother again." I said.

We fell under uncomfortable silence for a while until in our thoughts we hear a unknown voice suddenly speak,

"Who do we have here?" A deep man's voice asked.

Joe and I jumped and turned to see a tall muscular man. His blonde hair is slicked back and he has some tattoos on his arms. He looks older in his 50's.

Joe and I look at each other to see if we know him but we are both confused,

"Who are you?" I asked.
