Chapter 30.

(Taylor's perspective)

I wake up to see that I'm laying in a bed in a unknown room. I quickly get up and look around frantically. I get around to see if the Capital somehow have taken me somewhere but I didn't see any identification saying where I am. I'm even wearing different clothes dark gray jumpsuits with the symbol of District 13 on it.

I'm in District 14?

I thought the district was destroyed along with 13.

I look around for something to defend myself with but nothing is in this room other then a bed and a mirror hanging on a wall.

I walk over to the mirror and raise my elbow and hit on of the corners of the mirror as hard as I can and it crashes. I carefully grab one of the broken mirror glass and cut some of my jumpsuit sleeve off and I wrapped the sleeve around my hand to hold onto the broken piece of glass without cutting my hand.

I slowly open the door as much as I can and peak out looking for anyone walking by. I don't see anyone and I step out of the room into the haul way. I quickly walk through the unknown haul way without trying to make any noise and trying to figure out where to go.

It seems I'm in a military building?

Where would Joe be at?

"Taylor is gone!!" I hear a voice yell.

Shit.

Loud alarms go off in the building and flashing lights go off. I hear more shouting and yelling as I try and find a place to hide. I try to open random doors but they are all locked. I run down another hallway trying to open up more doors when I hear them getting closer,

"I think she went this way!" A voice shouted and more footsteps running in my direction.

I look down to see a light shinning out form underneath this one door and I grabbed the doorknob and it's unlocked. I quickly open the door and slammed it shut as I hold my breath as I hear them run past and they run off still looking for me.

"Taylor?" I hear a voice behind me.

I turn around to see my brother Austin. He is a little older and has a beard now.

"Oh my god Austin!" I shout running up to him and giving him a hug.

"Why are you here!? Where is mom!?" I shout.

"Mom is safe here. When you where in the arena the people in twelve fought back and many where killed. Many ran away to live in other districts and mom and I was put here in district 14 ever since." Austin said.

"Where is Joe?" I asked.

"You didn't hear?" Austin asks confused

"I didn't even know where I was five minutes ago. What happened to Joe?" I asked.

"They took him." Austin said.

"Who?" I asked.

"The Capital the President. They took him because we took you. They are demanding to give you back or they will kill Joe." Austin said.

"What!?" I shout.

"Where do they have him?" I asked.

"Somewhere in The Capital." Joe said.

Suddenly the door swings open and soldiers armed with guns pointing at us

"Freeze!!" They shout.

I scream in fear and Austin shouts as well,

"Hold your fire!!!" I hear a voice shout and Cymbeline walks in.

"Cymbeline!!" I shout and hug him.
