You awoke with a start.
Eyes flying wide and hand gripping around. Unsure of what had spurred you to awaken immediately you let your eyes scan the room looking for the culprit only for your eyes to land on the small clock tucked into a corner of the living area slowly ticking away. The only noise in the eerily silent factory. It was early in the morning. So early in fact you doubted that even Heisenberg had stirred, probably still snoring away peacefully (You can not tell me this man does not snore).
Letting yourself rest back down, you looked up. the ceiling looming above you deep shadows catching your attention every now and then. The tick of the clock made your hands twitch as it droned on, sleep never coming. Defeated you sighed, throwing your legs over the edge of the disaster of a sofa before pushing yourself to your feet.
"Bullshit" you mumbled as you dragged your feet making your way to the pantry in search of some late night snacks.

You shielded your eyes as your pupils dialated at the sudden intake of light. The kitchen was empty, a few clean dishes still sitting in the sink.
