The Next Friday

*Olivia's Pov*

It was the end of the last game of the season and for my entire high school career as the stadium began clearing and the crowds rushed to leave, and I ran up the bleachers as I spotted Jack waving to me, taken by surprise to see him here. I knew for a fact that Jack wasn't into football or being on school grounds any more than what he was forced to be, but I was happy that he was there to support me, and I was also nervous, knowing that Jack saw me dance.

"I thought you were "too cool" for these types of events, Mr. Gilinsky..." I sassily said, wrapping my short arms around Jack's long torso.

"Change of heart," he responds with a shrug, locking his lips with mine, gliding my hands up and down Jack's back as he keeps a firm yet gentle hold on my cheeks.

"Wouldn't want to make a scene now, would we?" I pulled away, letting out a small laugh.

"You're always thinking too much, Olivia Marie." I don't argue when Jack reattaches his lips with mine, and I snake my arms back around his neck.

"So..." I smiled at the sound of Jack's voice, keeping my eyes locked on the TV . We were currently on an old episode of Breaking Bad.

"Pay attention to me, Liv, me me me!"  I giggled as Jack lunged onto me,  breaking my gaze from the screen. I fought to get out of Jack's grasp as he began to attack my neck, pinning my arms above my head. "You know... I'm starting to think that you're more in love with those guys on that show than you are with me," he continued, making me gasp.

"What? No, never," I spoke dramatically, joining in on his teasing. He soon let me go, getting up from the bed and rummaging through a drawer, pulling out a swimsuit.

"We're gonna go swimming."

"Where?!" I automatically began to worry.

"Hey, hey, relax. My neighbor used to always let me use his pool during the summer in ,like, 9th grade..."

"It's almost 1 in the morning, Jack. This isn't even funny." I gave him an annoyed stare.

"But it's perfect because we most likely won't get caught," he retorted smoothly with a wink.

"Most likely," I mimicked as he gave me a cheesy grin. "You're impossible..." I sighed in defeat, letting my back hit the bed.

"And you're absolutely amazing," Jack cooed, coming to my side and leaving soft kisses on my face.

"Shhhh, follow me." I held my mouth closed, letting Jack lead the way to his neighbor's pool. I could not believe that I let him convince me into doing this- hell, it's been three years since 9th grade, but there was no use in arguing with Jack. He always won.

We eventually made it, and the both of us began to undress. I felt Jack's gaze on me, and I began to feel my heartbeat quicken as I lunged into the pool, letting the cool water engulf me.

"A little eager now, are we?" He teased as I reached the surface.

"Come in already..." I whined, splashing him. I knew I had made a mistake as soon as Jack leaped in, swimming to the opposite side of where he was. I knew he was too fast for me as I felt a hand grip my leg, shrieking loudly before covering my mouth with both hands.

Suddenly Jack emerged, slicking back the hair that was on his face before pulling me to him. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist as he brought me to the edge of the pool, traping me between the pool wall and him.

"I've got a better way to shut you up," he whispered seductively, teasing me by swiping his thumb over my lips. It wasn't long before Jack connected his lips with mine, and I instantly wrapped my fingers in his hair, getting a groan out of him.

"Never knew you had a rebellious side. I've always thought of you as a good girl..." His raspy voice made me want to melt right there in his arms.

"And I never knew that you had a romant-"

"Sh*t!" The patio lights scorched our eyes as Jack and I  rushed out of the pool and grabbed whatever belongings we could before  darting towards the gate. My legs felt weak and my stomach hurt from laughing as Jack helped me over the fence before the both of us ran full speed into his house.
