(A/N) I promised an update, right? AND this one's pretty longer than the others :) <3

*Olivia's POV*

"Olivia Marie! Hurry up and get down here! You're going to be late and I don't want to even hear your coach yell at me about it!"

"Alright, mom. Just ten more minutes!" I nervously scurry around my room, grabbing a few bobby pins and securing my hair and bow in place. I add a little more glitter and eye shadow to the lids of my eyes and once I'm satisfied, I race to my closet. If I wasn't such an unorganized person I wouldn't be going through this right now.

"Is my uniform down there?!?" I frantically yell, grabbing my phone and skipping down the steps. My mom scoffs and directs me to the laundry room, where I find it folded on top of the washer. I slip the tight thing on, taking one last look in the mirror, and go outside to join my mom in the car.

"Finally ready?" I nod and mentally roll my eyes. I knew she'd go on a rampage just for seeing me do that, but I could say or do something a lot worse. Eh, my mom and dad are the definition of strict.

After several minutes of driving, I see the all too familiar high school and stadium, already buzzing with teenagers and parents. Almost everyone was repping our high school's colors; red and blue. Imagining having to dance in front of all those people made me nervous, like it always did. Especially the fact that Jack, or whoever, was going to be there and most likely search for me.

"Ok, sweetie, I need to go find a parking space so why don't you go and find the rest of the girls and get ready for your routine, alright?" I agree and hop out of the car, pacing fast until I reach the gates of the stadium.

"Liv!" I see Lydia and Tommy's familiar faces and run over to them. I hug Lydia first; mainly because of what happened with Tommy a few days ago. Anyways, I like to make him annoyed, and giving all my attention to Lyd surely annoyed him.

"Uh, I'm here too." He looks at me and I can't help but smile and give in. I was never one to hold a grudge, especially against Tommy. He was literally my brother.

After a few minutes of talking about our plans for the summer, I head over to the rest of the dance team. We stretch out our legs and then get into our spots to cheer on the home team. "When we say Go, you say Falcons!" Our dance team yells. "Go!" "-Falcons!" "Go!" "-Falcons!" It wasn't difficult to get the crowd going; what was difficult, though, was calming my nerves. I kept telling myself to not think about Jack, but something in me wouldn't listen. He was so mesmerizing; from his looks to his smooth talk. And everything about him but his person- stop! He's not a good person.

"Hey, could you hand me those pom poms, please?" A sweet voice said. I looked over at the girl; she was unbelievably beautiful. I turned and grabbed the pom poms, giving them to her.

"Thanks, aha, I didn't want to interrupt you guys while you were practicing," she said, sending a genuine smile my way. "No, no problem." I returned the gesture. Talking to her made me feel so self conscious (please look at my character list and Google the characters so you know what they look like! The story will be a lot better :)).

"So, varsity dance, right?" I nodded. "Wow, you must be really good. I remember trying out last year- junior year- and obviously I didn't make it..." "I'm sorry. You must be pretty amazing yourself! I mean, I can tell that you're on varsity cheer, so don't degrade yourself," I responded. The girl seemed unbelievably kind, and I could definitely use some new friends.

"Yeah, I guess so." The announcer's voice boomed through the stadium's speakers, telling the crowd to be seated and that the game would soon begin. Right after, coach signaled for us girls to get into position on the football field. We had the opening performance, as always.
