(A/N) Hi loves! I had to update, I just couldn't leave you all without a new chapter. I'm still not feeling too good, so I hope you enjoy this chapter although it's sucky. I know the story has been pretty slow, but I need to build it up until it's time for drama. Get ready for some action...
BTW, if you have not heard Who You Are by Jessie J please please do! I've been obsessed! (It's also what makes me feel a little better)
ALSO, I decided I'm going to have a song or two for some chapters, depending on whether I find a song that fits what's going on in the story.

*Jack's Pov*
"Damn, she's letting you take her out?!"
"I know, man. How the hell did you get her to do that?!" I was telling Johnson and Sam about how Olivia and I had a date this week, and they didn't seem to take me seriously.
"I don't know, I think she's starting to warm up to me. I wanted her since the day we met..."
"Yeah, and then you're gonna get what you want and drop her, Jack. We all know how you are." Johnson says, looking at me through hooded, red eyes. I bring the joint to my lips and inhale sharply, closing my eyes and holding the smoke in my mouth until I feel the familiar burning sensation in the back of my throat and release the smoke into the muggy air.
"Maybe..." I respond a few seconds later after taking another hit and laying my head against the bed headboard, resting my tired mind.

Friday
*Olivia's Pov*
I slam the garage door shut, kicking off my black converse and throwing my backpack onto the kitchen tile. Tonight was Jack and I's date, and I couldn't be any more nervous. I didn't tell Lyd or Tommy because I knew they'd fill my mind up with nonsense. I wasn't really sure whether or not I regretted or would regret my decision; I prayed that tonight would go great, but with him I should expect the unexpected.
I go to the fridge, taking out a jar of jelly and going to the pantry to get peanut butter to make myself lunch. I sat at the dinner table, taking a few bites of my food while scrolling through my Instagram feed. Seeing nothing that interested me, I stood up and went to the sink to put away my dish before skipping up the steps and into my bedroom. I took a look in the mirror before deciding I looked like a complete disaster. My hair was frizzy and my light makeup was nearly sliding off of my face. I decided I'd shower since there was about 3 hours before Jack would be picking me up.
I stood under the hot water, letting the droplets of water race down my face and legs. My tensed muscles relaxed, and I let out a deep sigh. The steam that was engulfing me made me relax and it calmed my nerves about tonight. Before I knew it, I was finished showering and ran to my bathroom in my towel, taking my makeup bag off of my shelf and setting it on my dresser. I first decided to blow dry my hair, and once I was done, I started my makeup. I wanted to keep it natural, like always. I dotted some concealer on the bags under my eyes which were pretty bad at the moment; I bet I could hold groceries in them. Then, I dusted some powder onto my face and swiped a light coat of mascara onto my lashes. I was somewhat satisfied, heading to my closet to pick out an outfit. My style was pretty simple and casual; I settled on a medium wash pair of skinny jeans with my black converse and a plain zip-up sweatshirt with a white tank top underneath.
I was ready earlier than I expected, so laying on the couch and watching a little of American Horror Story seemed like the perfect way to pass some time. Several minutes into the episode, I got an urge to text Jack.
