It suddenly felt like I was watching a soap opera in real life setting. I saw the surprise on Gulf's face when the photographer walked closer to him. That and his silence told me something was definitely not right at the very moment. I looked at the photographer. He wasn't someone we know. He completely looked like a stranger.

Did I miss something? Do they know each other?

I watched them stare at each other for a few seconds more as my heart started thumping for reasons unknown. Gulf was evidently not blinking at all and was just staring at the man with wide eyes and open mouth. Was he star-struck or something? I suddenly felt a little tingling sensation in my chest. This isn't good. What is going on?

"Okay, people," the photographer said after what felt like forever. "I think everything's ready. Positions, everyone!" He put the camera that's he's holding on the center stand and turned back to Gulf who was clearly still dumbstruck. "I was told this is your first time. Just try and relax. They briefed you already, right? We'll be done in no time."

Gulf blinked. I think he's now back to reality. He awkwardly stood at the center and started fixing his clothes. He's clearly fidgeting. He looked very conscious and out of focus.

Oh no...

Who is this person that made Gulf uneasy all of a sudden?

Thankfully, the photoshoot started smoothly. The photographer started doing his job and was making Gulf feel more relaxed and comfortable. Gulf was nervous at the start but when he started getting the hang of it, he did remarkably. There wasn't a lot of smiling shots. I peeked at the photos on the big monitor near me. They were also trying to edit them simultaneously. Gulf looked charismatic. I couldn't help marveling at his beauty. He really was stunning.

I didn't go with him when he changed his clothing. There were more than enough staff to assist him so I just waited in a corner, sitting alone on a chair that they provided for me. The photographer was now talking to the editing team while waiting. I looked at him. He really was a stranger. I couldn't remember ever meeting him. When did Gulf meet this person? Did they meet within the months that I was away? I was itching to know the details about him.

When Gulf came back in a different style of clothing, I couldn't help but be mesmerized again. He's such a beauty. He was glancing at me when he walked back to the center. I gave him a thumbs up and my biggest smile.

Gulf smiled back at me and that's when the photographer finally noticed my existence. He turned to me but with a blank face. I stared back at him. Why not? We eyed each other for a good amount of seconds before he looked away and started giving simple instructions again to my boyfriend.

Just don't get on my nerves, sir, and don't give Gulf a hard time. I don't back down if it involves him. I'll clearly fight you man to man.

I smirked at my own thought. I wasn't even sure if this photographer was a friend to Gulf or not and here I am thinking of him as potential danger. I shook my head and just focused on Gulf who was slaying every concept of that photoshoot.

Good job, baby. I'm proud of you.

We were now seated inside a conference room. The photoshoot finished earlier but the photographer wanted to talk with Gulf alone. What alone was he talking about? As if I'd let him. I went with Gulf, of course. We sat side by side and that man sat opposite us. But again, they were back to gawking at each other. I knew that look in Gulf's eyes. He's restraining himself from giving that man a punch.
