I couldn't believe my eyes. Gulf was standing there, smiling and looking so breathtakingly handsome with a big bouquet of red roses in his hands. I froze from where I was standing and I just stared at him with my eyes wide open. It's as if time froze and everything went completely still.

Gulf... My mind kept repeating his name over and over as I stared at him, unblinking.

He started walking closer towards me since I obviously got glued to the floor already. I somehow lost my ability to move. I just kept staring at him. I couldn't believe he's really right in front of me at the moment. Oh God. Please tell me this isn't a dream.

When Gulf got closer, he held my face with one hand and flashed a big, loving smile. He looked majestic. It took my breath away and I was in awe again. I couldn't blink. "Happy birthday, baby," he greeted again, his face so close to mine.

I opened my mouth to speak but suddenly the door opened.

"SURPRISEEEEE!!!! Happy birthday, Mew!!!"

My jaw just dropped on the floor.

Entering the house were Mama Azon, Eian, Mr. Kawasaki and his wife, Lanie, Owen, Top, Jeff, and Boss. They all had balloons, party poppers and horns in their hands. They were loudly cheering as they immediately started singing a happy birthday song.

I wanted to cry. Everything happened so fast, so unexpected. It honestly felt like I was still dreaming. I looked at Gulf. His eyes were misty but he looked very happy. It made me even more emotional. All of them cheered again when the song ended.

Gulf handed the bouquet of roses and gave me a big, warm hug.

"Oiiiiiiii!!!!" They teased and cheered loudly. Jeez.

"Surprised?" Gulf whispered in my ear.

I nodded and rested my chin on his shoulders. I couldn't think straight. I didn't even know what to say first. For the love of God, I was trembling like hell.

"Happy birthday, babe. I love you. I miss you. This is my surprise for you. I'm glad I pulled it off perfectly," he whispered again and caressed my back.

My tears fell down. I couldn't help it. I sobbed. Without saying anything, I just surrendered to the overwhelming feelings and sobbed in my boyfriend's embrace.

Almost immediately, the people around us excused themselves and gave Gulf and I a moment to just be with each other. I knew some of them were giggling at the sight of me sobbing like a baby. I didn't care. They will get an earful from me later.

Music started playing when all of them went out. Gulf and I stayed in that position for a few minutes. He just let me cry while gently rubbing my back and stroking my hair. When I finally calmed down, I pulled away from his embrace.

"Are you okay now?" he asked gently.

I nodded while snuffling a little.

He smiled and put his arms around my waist. "You're such a crybaby but I like it. It makes me want to give you more surprises. Maybe I should try making you angry sometimes. You always cry when you're mad."

I frowned at him. What the hell?

He laughed out loud at my reaction. "Joke." He pulled my waist closer and gave a peck on my lips. "You're happy, right?"

"Is that even a question? Of course."

"That's a relief then."

"But how did you do it?" I asked him. "When did you arrive?"
