*Time skip 2 weeks later*
I wake up the next morning. I grab my phone and see that I have 2 new messages from Jill. I click on the messages and open the conversation.
Jill: hey Gwen. Camp is in Commerce city, Colorado. so you would go to the closer airport near you. When you show up to Colorado our captain and goalie are gonna pick you up. Carli loyd is the captain and then Hope Solo is the goalie.
Me: okay. Thank you Jill I'll see you then.
I go onto my instagram page and see that I have over 100k followers. I look at my followers and all of the USWNT team is following me.
I click on twitter and see a tweet from the USWNT team.

"We have a new player. Please welcome Gwen Stacy to the team! Welcome to the team Gwen!"

I like the tweet. I retweet the tweet, I take a screenshot of the tweet and also post it on my instagram page.
My phone blows up with twitter and instagram notifications. I click on them and several of the girls on the team are tweeting and posting on instagram saying "When do we meet the new girl? Can't wait to meet her."
I smile. I was a huge fan of the team. I've been following since I was 10 I had some huge role models from the team. My flight was it 4 hours.
I got up and got ready I pack all my things. I lock up my apartment and next thing I know I'm on my wait to the airport. I get to the airport and wait for my flight to be called.
I sit there. I notice movement in the corner of my eye, I look over and see Alex Morgan, Tobin heath, Christen press and Becky Sauerbrunn walk into the same seating area and same flight area as me. I don't approach them or speak to them I just sit there quietly and wait for my flight.
45 more minutes go by and our flight is called. I walk behind Alex and them so they don't notice me get on the plane with them, I sit down next to the window a young mom and her new born daughter sit next to me. I mess around on my iPad and watch movies, during one of my movies the mom is trying to sleep but the baby keeps getting all fussy and crying.
"I can help keep an eye on her." I say.
She looks over at me. "Are you sure? I don't want her to bug you." She says.
"Yeah I'm sure. She's not gonna bug me, you should get some sleep. You look extremely tired." I say.
"Thank you so much. It's been a struggle since my husband left me for another lady. After he found out I was pregnant he left me, I've been working from home trying to make money to keep a roof over her head and feed her baby food. I've so stressed I've barely been getting any sleep, whenever I put her down she sleep but not for long and then she wakes up and just starts fussing and crying." She says.
"I'm sorry about your husband. You and your daughter deserve so much better, he was a asshole for what he did to you and the way he left." I say.
"I really appreciate you helping me out with her." She says.
"Yeah of course. It's my pleasure, I love kids. I'm the type of person where I go out into public there's always a kid that sees me and just keeps looking my way." I say.
She laughs a bit. "Yeah I can see that. It's hard to explain but I can just see that happening to you when you go out into Public." She says.
I smile and nod. "Get some sleep I'll keep an eye on her for you." I say.
"Thank you again." She says.
"You're welcome." I say.
She closes her eyes. I stand up with the baby and walk away trying to calm her down.
"It's okay I got you little one." I say. I gently bounce her up and down. I rub her check with my finger, someone saw me and spoke up.
"You lost? This area is only for the USWNT players." I turn and See Tobin heath standing there she was in a really bad mood and very angry about something.
"Nope I'm not lost. I know exactly which section I'm in. You should sit down we'll be landing soon. Hope and Carli are picking us up." I say.
I walk away before she could say anything else. I calm the baby down and sit back down in my seat. We land and the woman wakes back up.
"Wow that was the best sleep I've had in a long time." She says.
"Good. I'm glad I was able to help." I say.
She takes the baby from me. She thanks me again and we go our separate ways, I grab my carry on and exit the plane. I wait for my luggage, Tobin and them come off the plane. They were all giving me dirty looks, they were walking past me.
"There a problem?" I ask.
"Yeah actually you were rude to Tobin." Abby says.
"Okay. Did you ask her what actually happened? We can bring this issue to Jill." I say.
They stop talking and look at me in shock. "Or we can work this out on the field. You guys and the rest of the team against me." I say.
They look at each other, and then look back at me.
"Do you know who we are? I'm Alex Morgan, this Is Tobin Heath, that's Christen Press and that's Abby Sauerbrunn." Alex speaks up getting angry and annoyed with me.
"Yeah I know. I know who you guys are, I've been following you guys since I was 12." I say calmly.
"Who are you? Must think your some type of bad ass, not only that but your coming after us like you know us and met us before." Christen says.
The luggage comes. I grab my luggage and walk away, I pull out my phone and shoot Jill a text explaining what happened between me and the girls.
"Yo. You didn't answer my question. Who are you? What's your name kid?" Christen says again.
"Guys should get going. Got a Uber to catch." I say.
I ignore Alex and them and walk away. I walk past Hope and Carli, and just end up walking to the hotel. After walking for 45 minutes I finally get to the hotel and walk inside.
Jill had the team meeting in the conference room to go over the rooming, team meals, practice and other info for the camp. I walk into the conference room, I stop when all eyes look in my direction.
Alex and the girls from earlier give me a 'what the fuck look'
I smirk at them. Jill motions for me to come over, I walk over to her. Jill speaks up getting everyone's attention.
"Girls please welcome our new player Gwen Stacy. She's one of our youngest players, she's only 16." Jill says.
Jill goes over the info for camp. For rooming I was by myself, after we go over everything we are dismissed. I grab my stuff and go upstairs to my room, I pull my key card from my pocket and open my door walking into my room.
I set my stuff on the desk. I grab my chargers and plug in my phone and iPad. I have my spider suit with me just in case but I don't I'll need it.
I lay on my bed and end up falling asleep.
