Ch.4: I was Getting Coffee

6 hours go by and the sun finally starts to rise. I sit there and watch the sunrise, I pull out my phone and check the time.

6:30 am

Breakfast is at 7. I noticed that I was put in a team group chat, I smile a bit. I know yesterday was just the first day of camp but I already feel a bond with the girls. I get a text from the group chat. I had my text message settings changed, I have it to where it says 'delivered' and not 'Read'.

Kelly: Have you guys seen the newbie at all? Knocked on her door and she didn't answer. I haven't seen her since we got back to the hotel from shopping last night.

Tobin: No, I haven't seen her. Why?

Ash: She's probably getting some fresh air somewhere.

Hope: I'm sure she'll be at team breakfast.

Carli: yeah, I'm sure she's fine Kel.

Ali: You do know that she's probably reading these messages right now. I mean someone did add her to the group chat.

Julie: Can you guys please stop blowing up my phone. I would like to at least get 30 more minutes of sleep before breakfast.

Kelly: not possible Jules. Breakfast is at 7, show up at 7 on the dot and coach will have your ass.

I stop reading the messages and climb down. I send a text to the group.

'I'm okay guys just had trouble sleeping. I'll be back in a bit I'm going to go get coffee, I'll try to be back before breakfast.'

I click send. I see a coffee shop, I walk in. I order coffee, I pay for the coffee and leave. While I'm walking back to the hotel, I notice 4 guys walking behind me. I shake it off and keep walking, I cut into a alley way taking a short cut. The 4 guys follow me. Now mind you I'm only 15 but I look really good and older than 15.

"Hey where you going beautiful?" One of them say.

"Piss off asshole. Your not my type." I say as I continue walking. He grabs my wrist, I quickly turn around and smack him in the face with my coffee. My coffee cup break and hot coffee burns his face, I kick him in the chest and he falls to the ground.

I punch another guy in the face, I grab him by the shirt. I toss him up, I catch him by his leg and arm I run and slam him into a brick wall. I toss him to the ground, he's definitely not getting back up after that.

One of the other guys go to kick me. I catch his foot, the other guy tries to punch me while I'm distracted. I knee him in the crouch, I then elbow him in the face breaking his nose. He falls to the ground, I turn back to the guy who's leg I'm holding I punch him in the crotch, I grab him by the throat. I pick him up and body slam him.

The 3rd guy gets back up his nose is broken and bleeding. He tries kicking me, I catch his leg. I swing him around and slam him into the side of a dumpster.

There was a cop passing by. They stop and run towards us to stop the fight before anything  could happen. We all get arrested and are brought to the police station.

We get put into separate cells. After a few hours, they let me make a phone call. I ring Jill and wait for her to answer. She picks up after the second ring.

"Hello?" She asks.

"Hey coach it's Gwen."

There's a short pause. "Um Gwen what are you doing calling me from a police station?" She asks.

"I went out for coffee this morning. 4 guys were following me, they started to get all handsy with me and a fight broke out. A cop car was passing by, they saw what happened and rush in to stop the fight before any thing else happened."
