Ch.19: Welcome Home Part 1

I wake up early in the morning. I grab my phone and check the time.

5:00 am

I sigh and turn in off. I turn off my phone and set it on the table next to the bed. I sit there but then grab my side and groan in pain as sharp pain suddenly shoot's up my side.

"F-Fuck...." I mumble weakly.

I slam my fist on the small metal table on the other side of the bed. I get up cause it started hurting while sitting. I stand up and start pacing back and fourth holding my side and groaning in pain.

Mom and mama wake up do to me slamming my fist on the small metal table.

"Gwen? What are you doing up kiddo? You okay?" Mama asks.

"My ribs really hurt." I start crying from the pain. "C-can I get pain killers?" I ask.

"Yeah. Yeah I'll be right back sweetie." Mama says.

Mama rushes out of the room to get a nurse or a doctor. I grab the small metal table next to the bed and throw it across the room, it slams against the wall. Metal tools go everywhere.

"Ah shit!" I shout. I hold my side and take deep breathes.

Mom hugs me. "Deep breathes baby. Listen to my heart beat, focus on my heart beat. Match your heart beat with mine." Mom says.

I nod and start taking deep breathes. My breathing becomes even and my heart beat settles down.

Mama comes back with the pain killers and a water bottle.

"Here." Mama says.

She hands me the pain killers along with the water bottle.

"Thank you." I say.

I pop 2 pills in my mouth and then drink water to wash them down.

I sigh, I sit on the bed and run my fingers through my hair.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you guys up." I say.

"It's okay kiddo don't worry about it. Your okay now, that's all that matters." Mama says.

"Yeah seriously. It's all good." Mom says.

I sigh and nod. I lay down on my side and face the window.

"Go back to sleep baby girl. You need to rest." Mom says.

They both kiss my head. "Good night Gwen. We love you." They both say.

"Good night mom and Mama. I love you guys too." I say.

Mom and Mama lay back down and fall asleep after a little while. After a long time I finally fall back asleep.

*Ali's Pov*

I wake up and look around I see Gwen is still asleep along with Ash. I smile, I quietly get up without waking up Ash. I grab my phone and check the time.

9:00 am

I kiss Ash's head and pulls the blanket up to cover her more without waking her up. I see Gwen has pillows and blankets all over the ground.

I chuckle quietly. I smile and shake my head, I walk over to her. I pick up the pillows, I gently pick her up without waking her and place a couple under her to help support her so she doesn't hurt her ribs. I place one behind her head and then lay the blankets back over her, I kiss her head.

I make sure I have my phone and wallet. I grab the keys and step out of the room quietly so I don't wake up Gwen and Ash.

I unlock my phone and go to my contacts. I click on Alex's contact and then click call.
