*Hopes pov*
They take off their mask. It was a girl, I watch her spit out blood. And then I see freeze when she looks up at us. It was Gwen, her face was all bloody and bruised, she had several bruises and cuts and a black eye.
"Change into normal clothes forget about us patching you up. We are taking you to the hospital!" I say in a stern tone.
"Guys can you excuse us for a minute? I'd like to talk to coach, Dawn, Carli and Hope alone." Gwen says quietly.
They nod and go to leave. "Remember guys. You promised me, don't tell a single soul. They'll know when I want them to know." She says.
They nod and leave the room to join up with the other girls.
"I..... I wanted them to help patch me up cause I can't afford hospital treatment." She says quietly.
"What do you mean?" Carli asks.
"I mean I live alone. My parents are gone, they're in another country for work. They didn't leave anything for me, no medical insurance or anything I need if I were to get injured or hurt." Gwen says.
"Kid we'll take care of that. You really need medical treatment." Jill says.
She nods. We turn our backs to her so she can change. "I'm ready." She says.
Me and Carli help walk her out to the van we rented. We tell the girls we'd be back in a bit and leave to take Gwen to the hospital.
I sit in the back with Gwen, she was in and out of sleep. The poor kid was drained from the fight and trying to stay awake.
The car ride was silent. We finally get to the hospital, Gwen goes to open the door. I quickly get out and run over to her side and help her out.
"Thank you Hopey." She says. I smile at the nickname. I only let a few people call me that Kelly, Gwen and Carli.
Carli helps me take Gwen inside. The doctor and a few nurses take her from us and take her into another room.
*Gwens pov*
They take me to another room and lay me down on a bed.
"What happened miss Stacy?" The doctor asks me.
"Car accident. I was walking and got hit by a car when I went to cross the street." I say.
"Did they stop to check on you?" He asks.
"No it was a hit and run. Didn't get a good look at them or at the car, I was in and out of conscious." I say.
He nods. "Just lay back and relax. We are gonna get you patched up, your definitely gonna need stitches." He says.
I nod. He grabs the supplies and gets everything prepared, they give me a shock to numb the parts where I'm getting the stitches at.
I end up falling asleep. By that time I wake up they're done stitching up my wounds. Doctor knocks and comes into the room.
"We'll we just finish stitching you up a little while ago. I want you to stay here for a few days, and then you'll be free to go." He says.
I nod. "Thanks doc."
He leaves the room. My phone starts ringing, I saw the caller ID and noticed my dad was calling.
I click accept and hold the phone up to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Oh my god Gwen I heard what happened. Are you okay sweetheart? How you holding up?" He asks.
