Ch.6: Hotel Fight

I slept for probably 5 hours tops. And then eventually gave up on just trying to sleep and just went to the gym in the hotel lobby.

It was 2 am. I go into the gym, I hook my phone up to the speaker in the gym and start blasting my music.

Battle born by five finger death punch comes on.

I start doing station work out. Such as push ups, planks, mountain climbers, 1 arm push up, Russian twists, crunches, pull ups, jump rope and battle rope.

I do the jump rope and go really fast and count to 100. Few hours go by, it was now 5 am and I was still going at it.

6:30 am rolls around and my alarm goes off. I turn off my alarm, I jump onto the boxing bag and start doing sit ups.

I finish doing sit ups and jump down from the bag. I wipe my face off with a towel and turn around. I freeze in my tracks when I see Hope, Carli, Kelly, Tobin, Christen, Alex, Ash and Ali all standing there shocked.

"W-what?" I ask.

"Um how long have you been up for kid?" Hope asks.

"Couldn't sleep. Been up since 2, lot on my mind." I simply say.

I walk past them and go to the elevator. Ash and then go to breakfast except for Carli and Hope. "You okay kid? You wanna talk about it?" Hope asks.

"Yeah, really guys I'm okay. Nothing I can't handle. I really appreciate you guys checking up on me." I say.

"You know you can always talk to us." Carli says.

"Yeah I know I can." I smile.

"We'll hurry up and shower breakfast starts in half an hour. Don't show up at 7 on the dot. I'd you do coach is gonna be pissed." Hope says.

I nod. The elevator opens, I get in and press the button to our floor. The door opens and I walk to my room, I unlock my room door and step inside. I grab a change of clothes and take a quick shower.

After washing my hair and cleaning up my body I turn off the water and dry off. I change into a black Nike sweatshirt and a dark grey pair of sweat pants.

I put on my black Adidas socks. I put on my black Adidas slides, I grab my phone and key card and head down to the team room for breakfast.

I grab my food and sit down at my table with Hope, Carli, Kelly, Alex, Tobin, Christen, Ash and Ali.

"Hey kid. What happened last night? You never updated me!" Ash says.

"Updated you?" Tobin asks in a confused tone.

"Yeah updated me Tobin. Gwen here has a little female admirer from our team." Ash says teasing me in front of the girls at the table.

"It went good. I messed with her and caught her off guard. I'm thinking about taking her out tonight for dinner." I simply say keeping my poker face on.

I looked over at Mal and we make eye contact. I smile at her, she blushes and smiles back.

"Oh my god. Your little crush is Mal!?!" Tobin asks squealing like a little kid.

I smirk and nod. They all squeal and start to fan girl a bit, I get up and go over to Mal's tables.

I sit down across from her. "Hey Mal you got any plans for dinner tonight?"

"U- uh no I don't. What about you?" She asks.

"No doofus that's why I'm asking you." I say.

"Oh. Well yeah I don't have dinner plans." She says.
