Closing the year

Anokhi took her time and had started to heal. However  she still would make little talk with the rest of the family and generally avoided everyone.  This was because she felt extremely guilty.

Shaurya- Anokhi dont worry. Mein hoon naa. Tum apni saari life aise nhi kat sakti. Apni di aur mom se milne bhi nhi gyi ho. They don't know naa tum aise kyu kar rhi ho. Unko hurt lagega. If you can't lie, tell them the truth. They will accept you. If you want to lie, lie but don't feel guilty.

Anokhi- Hmmm. Di!

Shaurya- Hmmm. Anokhi tumhari di hai woh. Koi aur samjhe yaa nhi. Woh samjhegi.

Anokhi calls up Babli and says it all. Babli is supportive of her decision. She tells she needed to talk to Shaurya.

Babli- Thanks Nikki ko aise support karne ke liye.

Shaurya- Arre meri Nikki nhi hai woh?

Babli- Haan aaphi ki hai abse. Humesha ke liye. Iss incident ne aap dono ko ek sath bandh dia.

Shaurya- Mein Anokhi ko bhi bandhna nhi chahta. Mein bas uski khushi chahta hoon. Usse khush dekhta hoon toh dil mein ek thandak si beh jati hai. Aur jab woh pain mein ho tab sab jaise khatam ho gya ho.

Babli- Woh lucky hai. Har koi uss jaisa lucky nhi.

Shaurya- Arre tum kaho toh shi. Mein Anokhi ko chodkar aa jaunga.

Babli- Hahaha. Aap Anokhi ko ek pal ke liye nhi chod paoge.

Shaurya- Achaa mein rakhta hoon. And aaj raat ko aa rhi ho toh mere liye kuch lana.

Babli- Bilkul.

Shaurya- Was that hard Anokhi? To tell her the truth.

Anokhi- It was. But it's for the best.

Shaurya- Good. How about your mumma?

Anokhi- Mumma won't be able to handle it.

Shaurya- Your maa is not weak. Woh iss age mein bhagi hai apne ghar se. She gave the horrible life and moved on. That takes strength and courage. Mein toh nhi kar pata. So don't doubt her strength. Because I am sure you can't doubt her love.

Anokhi- I don't doubt her love for once. But it's something very hard to talk about.  Uske eliva mumma ko stress dekar kuch nhi hona hai.

Shaurya- Anokhi. Jaisa tumhe theekh lage.

That evening Babli comes to cheer Anokhi up. The sisters have a lot of fun and this helps Anokhi heal emotionally.  Shaurya also had a fun night with the sisters. Aastha and Shaan were relived to see Anokhi become better.

The entire December month passed off smoothly.  Anokhi and Shaurya had got closer. The rest of the family too gradually forgot what had happened.  Everyone had fun time together with Kitty and Bebo also coming in to ring in the Christmas and New Year. They had a get together with Ahir, Shitij, Reema, Babli, Kitty, Bebo, Shayani, Maya, Vikram, Atif. Now Shaurya was far more chill and free around them as he was not their professor.  They called him for dance and he happily obliged to dance on Batameez Dil. In fact he dragged Anokhi for a couple dance with him on a romantic track. They threw cake on each other. Shaurya and Ahir were almost fighting.  They wanted to ruin each others face. It was a huge mess. The students were shocked to see them behaving as kids.  This was even surprising for Anokhi and Babli.  They were just being juvenile.  Ultimately Anokhi and Reema had to separate them.

Shaurya- Anokhi! Usko bolo naa usse tum kuch nhi kehti. Suit kharab kar di. Baby! Yeh tumhara favorite suit hai naa. I mean tumhe yeh bohot pasand hai naa. Uss din raat ko dinner par maine yeh pehna tha jiske wajah se tumne mujhe kiss kia tha yaad hai? Arre Ahir ka intention yhi hai.

Ahir- Mera intention? Aur tumne jo mera shirt ruin kia? Arre yeh shirt Reema ka gift hai. Usne apni first salary se dia. Reema tum apne Shaurya sir ka hi side lo.

Reema- Arre mein kisi ka side nhi le rhi.

Shaurya- Matlab Ahir ka side le rhi ho. I knew it. Professor ko bhul gyi ho. Tumhe yaad hai naa ki woh professor hoon mein jo fest ke pehle aur baad class nhi leta. Tumhe yaad hai kitna help karta tha mein. Tumhe yaad hai Anokhi ke sath tumko bhi pickup karta tha double dates ke liye. Ahir toh late hi rehta tha. Tumhare liye starters order kia. Apna paneer tikka share karta hoon.

Ahir- Haan aur mein usse apne hathon se khilata hoon.

Shaurya- Toh? Hai toh Paneer Tikka hi naa.

Anokhi- Aap bache ho PS? Yeh kya bachkani ladai kar rhe ho.

Reema- Aap toh mature ho naa Ahir. Toh yeh kya kar rhe ho? Ahir aise hi ladoge toh mein apne ghar jaa rhi hoon. Aap ladte rehna.

Shaurya- Arre matlab uski galti nhi hai Reema thodisi meri bhi hai. Reema aise mat jao naa.

Anokhi- Arre Reema chal. Inn dono ko ladne de. Aisa nhi ki hume pyaar se cake khilayenge.  Khud ladenge. 

Ahir- Arre Anokhi. Itni se baat. Chalo mein khila deta hoon.

Shaurya- Door reh meri wali se.

Ahir- Achaa sorry. Abhi situation samjh.  Ladega toh dono naraaz ho jayegi.

Shaurya- Chal tujhe maaf kia apni Anu ke liye.

Ahir- Haan maine bhi Reema ke liye tujhe maaf kia.

Reema- Anu?

Anokhi blushes.

Reema- Haayo rabba! Anu! Aur Shaurya ko kya bulati ho?

Anokhi- Shaurya hi. Yaa phir PS.

Reema- Arre batao naa.

Anokhi- Arre Shaurya hi aur kya.

Shaurya- Haan bas wohi. Ab yeh sab chodo. Cake khao.  Achaa cake laye ho Ahir bhai.

Anokhi- Bhai?

Ahir- Bhai? Ok. Ok. Bhai. Haan mujhe pata tha tumhe yeh flavor pasand hai toh laya. Tumhare favorite shop se.

Anokhi- Ab bohot hua. Shaurya ab mujhpe focus karo.

Reema- Haan karo. Bechari pe focus Shaurya sir.

Shaurya feeds Anokhi cake and she feeds him cake too. After sometime they leave. They were walking outside towards the parking that Shaurya looks here and there to find no one and starts to kiss Anokhi. Anokhi responds.

Ahir- Arre yaar ghar toh rok lo.

Shaurya- Tu bada rukta hai naa? Tujhe kya lagta hai balcony ka fayda uthayega koi dekhega nhi.

Anokhi- Arre fir se? Ab mein jaa rhi hoon.

Shaurya- Arre nhi nhi. Chalo ghar chalte hai.

Shaurya and Anokhi leave.

Anokhi- This year has been tough. But tum the by my side through all of it.

Shaurya- I know jaan. Tough tha. But ultimately we are together. We faced it all together.  I am so proud of you. I am so proud of how you handled things. 

Anokhi- And I am so, so proud of you.

Shaurya kisses her on the forehead. They reach the car. Anokhi goes to sleep as Shaurya drives. When they reach the mansion, he lifts her gently to take her to the room. When he enters, he sees the Sabbarwaals waiting to wish the couple. The family on the other hand sees this adorable scene of Shaurya lifting a sleeping  Anokhi. They leave gesturing that they will talk to him the following day. Shaurya takes Anokhi till the room. They both go to sleep.
