Shaurya-Good morning jaan. Aaj first day hai naa. All the best.

Anokhi-Thank you.

Shaurya-I love you.

Anokhi-I love you too.

Shaurya-Mess ka breakfast kaisa hai? Theekh hai naa.

Anokhi-Haan. Aaj aloo paratha tha.

Shaurya-Achaa maa ne bhi wahi banaya hai aaj I think. Waise chai lia naa?

Anokhi-You have made me a coffee person. Coffee lia.

Shaurya-Achaa aur mein tumhari yaad mein chai pee rha hoon
.
Anokhi-Mujhe chai pasand nhi utni ab. Hum dono ab coffee people hai.
Coffee couple.

Shaurya-Haan.Chalo tumhara first class nau baje hai naa. Toh class ke liye niklo.

Anokhi-Hmmm. Nikal rhi hoon.Suno.

Shaurya-Haan?

Anokhi-I love you. She kisses the phone.

Shaurya-I love you too.

Anokhi-Bye.

Shaurya-Bye.

That day Shaurya was not his usual self at college. Luckily there was only introduction class and it got over quick. He went into his cabin and was playing with his chair, going round in it. Suddenly he finds Shaan enter.

Shaan-Mann nhi lag rha hai?

Shaurya-Hmmmm.

Shaan-Ghar chale jaa. Samjhta hoon. Waise bhi abhi Teri responsibility utni nhi hai.

Shaurya-Dad!

Shaan-Its ok. And yeh aadesh tere bade papa ka hai. Mein sirf messenger hoon. Ab toh jayega Ghar tu?

Shaurya-Ok.

As Shaurya walks by the canteen he can see there is a new girl who was looking very nervous and serving coffee.

Shaurya-Hey!

New girl-Yes sir!

Shaurya-Whats your name?

New girl-Sir sorry sir. Agar kuch galti hui kaam se mat nikalna.

Shaurya-Nhi yaar! Mein toh bas yeh kehne aaya tha relax. You know the girl before you accidentally threw noodles on me. But aaj woh IIM mein hai. So it's ok. Don't be nervous. I know it's new. But trust me you will be ok.

New girl-Thanks sir. Aapke liye coffee laoon?

Shaurya-Anokhi banayegi coffee.

New girl-Sir kis ma'am ko bolna hai. Anokhi ma'am kaun hai nhi pata.

Shaurya-Oh! Never mind. Waise mujhe nikalna tha. Bye and all the best.

New girl-Thanks.

He leaves college. He was thinking about all the beautiful memories with Anokhi on the way back. Devi called him when he entered home but he didn't notice and went to his room. Everyone knew he needed space and they gave him that.

In the evening he called Anokhi.

Shaurya-College achaa hua?

Anokhi-Haan. Achaa gya.

Shaurya-Toh low kyu sound kar rhi ho?

Anokhi-Pehli baar aapko college mein nhi dekha.

Shaurya-Achaa. Mein toh hoon hi tumhare sath. Tumhe.

Anokhi-Apne dreams pure karne hai. But mera dream aap ho.

Shaurya-Mein dream nhi hoon Anokhi. Sach hoon tumhara. Abhi tumhe do saal wahan apne dreams ko sach karna hai. You have to do Siac proud. I know you will.

Anokhi-Sab kuch alag hai. I mean.

Shaurya-Jaise?

Anokhi-Sab kuch alag tareeke se hota hai. Zyada tests hai. Zyada kaam hai. I don't know mein.

Shaurya-Tum kar sakti ho Anokhi. Aisa kuch nhi jo tum nhi kar sakti. Ek level up hai I know. Mein tumhari jo help ho sakega karunga.

Anokhi-Thank god aap ho.

Shaurya-Haan. Mein hoon. Naye dost banaye?

Anokhi-PS kya..... Mera dil toh wahin hai Reema aur aapke paas. Ahir ke paas bhi. I mean.

Shaurya-I know.

Anokhi-Aur maa ko bhi bohot miss kar rhi hoon. Di ki baat hi mat karo.

Shaurya-Badi maa aur maa dono tumhe bohot miss karte hai. Aaj dinner table pe koi khane ke mood mein nhi tha. Tumhara naam lekar unko kaha ki kuch kha le toh khaya unn logon ne.

Anokhi-Badi maa. Maa. Papa. Di. Oh my god.

Shaurya-Anokhi. Koi kahin nhi jaa rha. Jaldi mil rhe hai.

Anokhi-Fir bhi.

Shaurya-Anokhi.

Anokhi-Ok. Waise aap kaise ho? Aap theekh toh ho naa? I mean jabse hum date kar rhe hai tabse kabhi bhi itne door nhi the hai.

Shaurya-Arre mujhe kya hoga? Bacha nhi hoon. Theekh hoon.

Anokhi-Sach naa?

Shaurya-Haan jaan theekh hoon.

Anokhi-Mental health wise? I mean therapy completion ho gya aapka but pehli baar hum door hai so.... Are you fine?

Shaurya-Haan. Jab tumhe meri itni fikar hai toh jhoot nhi bol paunga. Thoda upset hoon. Tumhe miss kar rha hoon. But mental health wise I am ok.

Anokhi-Hhhmmm. Whenever you miss me call ok. Kuch sochna mat just call.

Shaurya-Anokhi! You don't have to always be there for me.

Anokhi-But you are naa?

Shaurya-Thats because I am 27. I am a professor. You are student. Enjoy your student life, make friends. I don't want people to think you are stuck up. I want you to have new experiences.

Anokhi-Why do have to make it sound like aapki life toh bas khatam hi ho gyi. This is a time for you too. I know you aren't very connected to your school mates and college people. But keep yourself open. And please do make solo trips to " " cafe. Don't worry waiters wahan sirf couples ko bhav nhi dete.

Shaurya-Anokhi mein soch bhi nhi sakta. That's humari jagah. Tumhare bina kaise jaunga?

Anokhi-Arre! Mein nhi hoon toh jeena chod doge? In fact mujhe tasli hogi ki tum theekh ho. Khush ho.

Shaurya-I don't know Anokhi. I just don't know yet.

Anokhi-I know Hume waqt lagega. But we have to. For ourselves. For each other.

Shaurya-Hhhhmmm. Abhi kya kar rhi ho?

Anokhi-Room mein baithi hoon bas.

Shaurya-Hhhmmm.

Anokhi-Tum?

Shaurya-Bas sone hi jaa rha tha. Tum bhi so jao.

Anokhi-Aaj itni jaldi?

Shaurya-Mood nhi hai kuch karne ka. Tomorrow morning hum dono ke beech ki doori ek raat se kam hogi.

Anokhi-Haan. Woh toh hai. Chalo them good night.

Shaurya-Good night Anokhi.

They both lay a bit uneasy in their beds but soon they find sleep in their eyes and drift off to sleep.
