Forever valentine

It was valentine's day. Shaurya had asked Anokhi if he could visit her. She replied that she wont be able to meet him or hang out because of some work. So Shaurya didn't go to meet her. However, surprisingly he receives a call that evening to come out and receive a parcel Anokhi had sent him. As soon as he opens the door, someone pulls him out and drags him till a car.

Shaurya- Yeh kya kar rhi ho tum?

Anokhi- Arre ek surprise plan kia hai please.

Shaurya- But....

Anokhi- Baad mein samjhaungi. Ab chalo bas.

Shaurya- OK.

She takes Babli's flat. The entire house was beautifully decorated with white roses, a favorite of Shaurya. As Shaurya was taking the ambience in and wondering how Anokhi had pulled this off, he lost track of Anokhi. Five minutes later she popped up in a beautiful anarkali. She had something in her hand he guessed but she had placed her hand behind her. She went down on her knees.

"Will you be mine. Can we get get engaged.  Not the marriage bit but just engaged. I think I ruined the feel. Let me ask again. Will you be my forever valentine? Can I have a ring on my finger that reads your name? Can I become a little bit more of yours?"

Shaurya- What? I am dreaming.  Shaurya! Tu pagal ho gya hai. Uth jaa. Kya sapne dekh rha hai ab.

He starts to walk off.

He hears music.

Pal, Pal dil ke paas
Tum rehte ho
Jeevan meethi pyas
Yeh kehte ho
Pal, Pal dil ke paas.....

Anokhi was singing for him. He turned back. She had a huge bouquet in her hand as well.

Anokhi- I know you are the bug gestures person but today I changed places. So here are some white roses for you. Is that romantic enough yet for you to say yes.

Shaurya faints.

Anokhi- Shaurya utho! Kya ho gya? Arre utho.

Shaurya wakes up in sometime.

Shaurya- I knew it sapna tha.

But then he looks around to find Anokhi by his side. He knew he wasn't dreaming. 

Shaurya- Anokhi tum sach mein? You don't have to do this for me. Is this about the abortion thing? Do you think you owe me? No you don't.

Anokhi- I don't owe you. I love you. You are mine. How can I owe something? You are my home. You are my everything.  And yeh isliye nhi tha. I have grown comfortable with giving you a piece of me. I know I can trust you. You will never lose it. You will take care of me better than I can. You will stand by me when I feel weak. You will be with me as I make painfully, right choices. I don't have to fear you, or fear anything while you are around. You are the best thing that happened  to me. The best thing that got sent my way. The abortion reaffirmed that. It made me realize how safe you make me feel. And now I want to take the next step. I know you have always wanted. But I hope you want to take it today too?

Shaurya- Yes! Yes! Yes!

He hugs her tightly.  They start to kiss.

Anokhi- Shaurya we can't get too carried away. I ordered your favorite chocolava cake.

Shaurya- I prefer you.

Anokhi- I know but I am planning to tell the family.  They are all waiting. 

Shaurya- So you meant engagement. Engagement. Like proper?

Anokhi- Yes. Proper. Proper.

Shaurya- Mein khushi se mar jaunga.
