It was a Saturday night. Shaurya was working through some files. Suddenly he uttered

Shaurya- Anokhi ek coffee lekar qa sakti ho please. I promise kal tumhe hot chocolate banake dunga. I have thought really bad headache but I need to get this done.

Then he realizes, that Anokhi wasn't there. Anokhi had stayed a couple of days with them around a month due to a winter break and Shaurya was so used to having her around. It was a week since she had left but he still missed her. He was too tired to articulate it or call. He wished to call it a day but couldn't. He himself had promised Monday. He had to get it done by the morning so that it could get approved by Bade Papa and dad. So he had no option but to keep going. Just then he heard the ring of the bell. He didn't understand who would be coming so late. He went to open the door to find the delivery guy hand him a cup of coffee and a pack of cookies.

Shaurya-Yeh?

Delivery person- Someone ordered for you sir. Wait a second. It's Anokhi Bhalla. Do you know her?

Shaurya- Yeah. Yeah. Thanks.

He takes the order. He receives a message.

Anokhi- Call karke won't distract you. You are too tired to talk. But sent you a coffee to help you keep awake through the night. Relax. You will be able to crack it.

Shaurya- Jaan🥺🥺🥺. Thanks....

Anokhi-😘❤

Shaurya worked through the night. That day morning he showed the paper work and they were OK with it. After which he lay on the bed. It wasn't long before he was asleep. Anokhi has a reasonably chill Sunday. In the evening:-

Shaurya- Thanks. I wasn't able to thank you yesterday.

Anokhi- You did. You texted me.

Shaurya- Yup but you sent me coffee. And I didn't pick up when you had called earlier. I was a bit busy.

Anokhi- I know. I shouldn't have called knowing you had the submission but I had to ask some doubt and yesterday was deadline so...

Shaurya- Damn! Sorry!

Anokhi- Arre jitna samjh aaya utna submit kia.

Shaurya- I should have picked up what was I thinking.

Anokhi- Shaurya it's ok. You love me. Doesn't mean you have to be available for me. You were busy I get it.

Shaurya- Tum kitni understanding ho.

Anokhi- I am ambitious. You have always supported that. So I will always support you. Love or not. I will always support you.

Shaurya- Love you jaan.

Anokhi- Love you.

Shaurya- Achaa should we do a movie night today. You and me.

Anokhi- Which film? Spiderman nhi bas.

Shaurya- Achaa. Woh chodo. Iron man?

Anokhi-No.

Shaurya- Toh batman.

Anokhi- I don't want to see any man. I mean super hero movie nhi dekhni.

Shaurya-Toh? Mission Impossible yaa James Bond?

Anokhi- Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

Shaurya- Woh dekhi hui movie nhi dekhni. Bas ho gya.

Anokhi-Toh mera chehra dekhna hai kya?

Shaurya- Kyu nhi? Meri life ki heroine ho toh tumhara hi dekhunga. Jisse yaad aaya kuch baatein hai shadi ke arrangements ko lekar.

Anokhi-Abhi se. Abhi 4 mahine hai kareeban. Humari shadi April 15th ko hai naa.

Shaurya- Haan Anokhi.

Anokhi- Toh itni jaldi?

Shaurya- Arre you know naa family mein sab excited hai. If you are busy them....

Anokhi- Nhi but Shaurya itna kya plan karna hai mera matlab hai you know naa we are not that rich. Babli di ka business settle bas hua hai. Ghar ka bhi loan aur mere college ka fees. Zyada pause nhi afford kar payenge.

Shaurya- Anokhi. I know. And hum aadha aadha dekh lenge kharcha. But baat yeh hai ki unhe choti se choti cheez plan karni hai. Like every detail. Aur functions hoga mehendi, haldi ek hi sath and shadi. But mein ek bachelor's night bhi soch rha hoon. Hum dono sath mein hi karenge. Matlab tum, mein, Ahir, Shitij, Arman, Karan, Rahul, aur tumhare college ke friends. Kitty, Bebo toh honge hi. Babli bhi. Aur Kanchan and Yash.

Anokhi- Hmmm. Perfect rahega.

Shaurya- Haan toh tum batana kab free ho. Video call pe sab decide karna hai.

Anokhi- Aaj, next weekend bhi free hi hoon.

Shaurya- Achaa toh next weekend plan discuss karte hai. Anokhi tumhare liye ice cream kia tha order jakar lekar aao gate se.

Anokhi- Hmm. Thanks.

Shaurya gets his ice-cream from fridge.

Shaurya- Ab mohol ban gya. Movie bolo.

Anokhi- Hmmm. Samjh nhi aa rhi.

Shaurya- But I know. Chennai Express. (Sorry guys went with none of your suggestions. Suddenly felt like breaking the box. So here is what I would want them to watch.)

Anokhi- What? It's an old film.

Shaurya- But funny and I like to see you laugh. So perfect?

Anokhi- Hmm. Me too.

Whenever Anokhi would laugh, Shaurya would grab a screen shot. He loved to see her laugh.

Anokhi- I know tum kya kar rhe the.

Shaurya- Parayi ladki ki thodi tumhari photo le rha tha. Bohot pyaari lagti ho jab hasti ho. Dil karta hai ki tumhe zor se gale laga loon.

Anokhi- Awww. April tak ki hi baat hai then I am moving in.

Shaurya- Anokhi you are comfortable with that? Or you want a separate home.

Anokhi- I absolutely want to live with your family. I am totally cool. And di ka ghar bhi toh paas mein hi hai iss ghar ke. Best hai humare liye.

Shaurya- Hmmm. Thanks. Mujhe toh qbhi mili hai family.  I didn't want to move away. Thanks for being ok with this.

Anokhi- I am not ok. I am great with this. It's good practically also. We will help around at home and also have someone to help us around with logistics. Also financially wiser decision.

Shaurya- Hmmm. Chalo raat ho gyi hai. So jao. Bye!

Anokhi- Bye jaan! Good night! Dream only about me.

Shaurya- Kya tum bhi naa. Bye.

He keeps the phone and looks at the pictures he took of Anokhi. He does off to sleep and so does Anokhi.

I know this was simple update but the wedding is coming really, really soon. Maybe 2-3 updates later as per current plan. So keep patience.
