what a superficial lives?
yearning for starched currency
instead of love or humanity
chasing skyscrapers rather one's respect
ruining tranquil bonds for meaningless jewels
intertwined sweaty bodies in the name of lust
crystals shining through bedpost
where is the essence?
fake cares, lonely childrens
empty alleys, groaning cows
saving insurances only to loose
precious pleasures of the moment
racing on shadowy tracks
shattered cocktails, red eyes
bruised hearts, bruised souls
who is the winner?
manipulating,
dodging competitions
strangers to friends to enemies
complicated grudges
useless worth of effort
funny how each person failed
at the end
sorrowful minds sobs
leading nobody nowhere
sipping, ticking the clock of years
continues. . .
