Y/N's Pov

"BRRRRR BRRRRR" the alarm sound echoed around my bedroom.

I groaned at the painful noise ringing through my ears then forcefully pushed myself up from my soft covered bed. I rose up from the grey sheets and my feet made contact with the soft fur carpet as I lifted my arms and opened my mouth wide to intake the fresh air for a yawn.

I clumsily stood up and made my way towards the bathroom. When I entered, I settled infront of the mirror, looking at my messy self for a few seconds.

I sighed before finally having the courage to continue with my morning routine and have a shower then brush my teeth.

I came out feeling fresh. I ambled towards my wardrobe and took out the outfit I plan on wearing today at school.

I wore a black skirt with a white blouse and a grey zipper.

I sat down at the mirror and applied some light makeup. Not too much though, just a natural beauty look.

I placed the pink lip tint on my lips and finally stood up. I strolled out of my bedroom and made my way downstairs and treated myself to some cereal for breakfast.

I filled up a glass of water and placed the food on the dining table.

I dug in as the hunger was getting to my stomach. I got a spoon and picked up some of the little chocolate puffy coco pops along with some milk on the spoon and placed it inside my mouth.

The flavor was on the next level, it never gets old.

I like to eat slowly so my food doesn't go down the wrong tube in my throat, so I took my time.

After I finished eating I took my dish to the sink to wash it. I rinsed it under the tap which had hot water flowing from it and used some soap on a sponge to get rid of the bacteria and excess food waste.

I looked at the time and saw it was only half 7.

I sighed and placed my dish on the drying rack and dried my hands with a tea towel.

I grabbed my bag and placed it over my shoulder. I picked up my wallet walked out of the house, ensuring I locked the door.

I walked to school as it wasn't that far away from my apartment. On the way I saw two little children cheerfully laughing while holding the hands of their beloved parents. I smiled at the cute sight.

The thought of my parents taunted me, I miss them a great deal, I haven't seen them for over two years. I moved here after they both passed.

I decided to come here because I wanted to experience life fully and I wanted to be independent.

I sometimes regret my decision and I do feel lonely without them but I knew it was for the better.

After the short walk, I arrived at school and greeted the guard standing at the gate.

"Hi Y/N!"

"Good morning Taemin!" I smiled at him.

I strided inside and saw my best friends (practically sisters) standing at the gate for me. Their names are Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun and Chaeyoung. I met them on the first day of school when I transferred in. I wasn't quite good at Korean but they helped me learn it and settle in.

I hugged them and we walked to the cafeteria. They bought breakfast and ate it there but I just sat down and scrolled through Instagram as I already ate.

They sat down and ate chocolate cake whilst some ate a breakfast bar or other stuff. I have no clue why they are feasting on cake at almost 9 in the morning but oh well.

"My boss said he'd raise my pay and promote me to a till worker instead of washing dishes." I smiled at them.

"That's great y/nie!" Jihyo smiled, showing all her teeth, I smiled back.

"You can treat us to lunch tomorrow." Nayeon smirked.

I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Look at this picture of Yeonjun!" Momo squealed in fangirl

"OMG! I saw the Soobin version of that." Mina screamed in a high pitched voice.

I raised my eyebrow and looked at them.

"Pfft, look at this pic of Hyunjin it's way better" I said and showed them a pic of Hyunjin with a smirk on my face.

"Ok we get it. You're all fangirls" Chaeyoung said and rolled her eyes.

The bell rang and we stood up and ran to the classroom.

I walked into the classroom and sat down at my seat. I sit next to this guy called Sunoo. He's really kind and his smile is so cute!

"Hi Y/N! Did you sleep well?" He smiled at me

"I think so." I grinned back at him and he flashed his teeth.

I looked around the room and saw everyone either chatting or on their phone. There was this one girl though, her name is Sana. She's always sitting alone and staring out of nowhere.

I wonder if she's okay.

I stood up and sat next to her.

"Helloooo!" I shouted enthusiastically to grab her attention. She didn't look at me and just hummed in response, still staring outside the window.

She's really fascinated by the window, she must find it really amusing.

"Hi. Look at me please." I spoke.

She looked at me and smiled faintly.

"No one really talks to me like you do." She mumbled under her breath.

I could see she looked a bit upset.

"Oh, what's bothering you? You look upset." I asked her.

"It's nothing. I'm just tired" She answered and yawned.

A woman who I was not familiar with entered the classroom. I sneaked back to my seat next to Sunoo and the class went all quiet.

"Right class! Your teacher is currently ill so I'll be teaching you as a supply teacher till Mr Yang is back. My name is Miss Park." She smiled at us, she seems nice!
