"Haruta? It is you, right?"

"Yes, silly!" She smiled playfully "how have you been? It's been a long time hasn't it?"

"Yeah, I'm doing well actually. How are you?"

"Oh I'm good. Just doing what we all gotta do, live"

"Yep, we all wish we were kids again. Enough of the grandpa talk, it's funny how today I'm meeting everyone from school. I just met with Jay a bit ago"

"Yeah I thought I saw him but I wasn't sure"

"Haruta! Come back! Your latte is getting cold-oh sorry am I disturbing something?" A man protruded from the café and interrupted us.

"Jake, this is my younger brother, Riki" she turned towards him "Riki, this is Jake from middle school in Australia. We happened to be in the same café though just now. What a coincidence!" She smiled and tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear.

Oh, her brother. Why was that strangely relieving? Emotions are hard to understand. Jake brushed his thoughts away from his mind.

"So...I guess I'll go then"

"Wait-before you go, can I get your number? I mean-you know, just to stay in touch...?"

"Sure. Give me your phone, I'll put it in" she handed me her phone and I put my number in. What should I save my name as? Hmm, Jakey ya best boi who loves ya? He just put Jake.

"Here" I passed the phone back to her "great!" She replied optimistically.

"Okay, I better get going then. Bye bye!" Jake walked off after giving her a warm smile.

Jake found it hard to keep his composure the whole time whilst walking to his house which was only a few blocks away.
