"NOO GET HIM GET HIM GET HIMMMM!!"
"I'M TRYING STFU"
"NOW LOOK! WE LOST"
"ITS JUST A GAME SHHHH" Me and Sana bickered whilst playing Call of Duty. We had lost SEVERAL times and it was getting annoying. I'm literally about to rage quit."Ok ok that's enough now. Let's stop playing, look at the time" its 12:56. Oops-
"Oh, damn we got school tomorrow"
"Yeah so get your ass up to bed, I'm going to brush my teeth first"
I checked my phone whilst I was waiting for Sana to get out the bathroom. A message from Jake was left on my screen.
Jake
You free tomorrow? I'm coming overI replied back to him.
Kk I'll send my address
(Insert address)I put my phone away and laid back. I'll tell Sana later.
I shut my eyes and for a split second, I dozed off. That microsecond of sleeping felt so good though, until Sana came to tell me to go into the bathroom.
I reluctantly heaved myself off the couch and trudged towards the toilet.
•••
I sighed a tired sigh and jumped on my bed, face flat. I can't even be bothered to open my blanket cover and get inside it. I still did it though because it's a bit chilly outside and I don't wanna freeze to death.
I shut my eyes and vivid images of todays events flashed throughout my mind. I pushed them away and snuggled on my penguin plushie, feeling warm and cozy. I wish Sana was lying in my bed right now so I could hug her and bury my head in the crook of her neck, inhaling the fruity scent of her body spray. Her warm hands would be wrapped around me, keeping me all snuggled up safely.
My eyes opened back up automatically and I lay on my back, staring at the ceiling. It felt as if I was sleeping with my eyes open for a second.
Gently, I shut my eyes again, hoping to fall asleep.
I saw two cars in the middle of a Black Sea of darkness. There was nothing else there. Only emptiness. I took a step towards the car and noticed that one of the doors were open of the second car. I leaned forwards, hoping to get a good look at the bright red liquid seeping out of the car. Wait a minute, is it...blood?
Once I got a close look at it I realised that it was the man from today. The moody old man in his luxurious black car.
His head was smashed, kind of like a watermelon. I could see his brain almost. Blood stained his not-so fresh anymore suit and his leg lay there twisted. It looked horrifying, like all the blood had been seeped out of his face.
My eyes widened at the scene infront of me. What the fuck is this? Where am I? Why are tears falling? Someone help me. Someone. Anyone.
I turned around and ran towards the familiar looking other car. I opened the door, hoping I could drive away but no. Guess who was in it.
My parents.
My fucking dead parents. I screamed a chilling scream and stumbled towards the opposite direction, weeping like a lost child. I choked on my own tears and tripped over my foot. I got up and continued running to God knows where. I shut my eyes tightly, praying for a way out of this misery. Just hoping that someone would come and tell me it was all gonna be alright.
After running and running till my feet were sore, my legs gave out on me. I dropped to the ground and buried my head in my arms against my knees. I let out sobs of pain and fatigue. All these emotions that were stored inside of me were let out once again. They kept flowing and flowing. I felt a hand rest against my back and pull me towards them.
I opened my eyes and suddenly I was back in my own bedroom. Somehow I was still in the strange crying position again though, all huddled up. Except this time, I was wrapped in the arms of a warm and loving person. Just the one I wanted to be with right now. I needed her, and she was there. I let out a soft smile and buried my head into the crook of her neck, just like I wanted to before.
We lay down on the bed all snuggled up and cozy. Her hand stroked my hair gently and I fell asleep instantly. I felt relaxed for the first time in ages. I was truly happy.
