Finally! The day I get discharged!!

I walked out of the hospital in my baby pink cardigan with a white crop top and jeans. I was with Sana, of course, because we live together.

We decided to get home by taxi as I wasn't in the mood to drive and my car was at home. Sana didn't have a car.

We arrived and I noticed that the house was a kind of mess.

"Ah...sorry about the mess..."

"Were you so worried about me that you forgot to clean up?" I teased her

"Haha no" she said with a straight face.

We both burst out into laughter and started to tidy up after putting my stuff back in my bedroom.

After we finished, we sat down on the couch. I turned the tv on to get rid of the silence but Sana just went on her phone.

I looked at the time, it was 5. I feel a bit peckish. I guess I forgot to eat lunch.

"You hungry?" Sana asked

"Hm?" My stomach rumbled loudly and Sana just looked at me.

"Hehe, I guess..."

"Well you're in luck because I'm in the mood to make some miso soup and rice! Wanna learn?"

"Sure!"

"Okay!! Time to teach you my grandma's recipe. She taught this to me years ago. I have it written down somewhere just in case I forget, but to this day I still haven't forgotten. Right! Let's get to it!"

We stood up and went into the kitchen. We washed our hands then Sana got out all the equipment.

She told me to chop up the tofu whilst she boiled dashi granules in water. By time I finished chopping the spring onions and tofu and put the washed rice in the cooker, she had whisked in the miso paste and was ready to stir in the tofu. Then she put in the green onions. We left it to simmer for 2-3 minutes before taking the rice out and pouring the soup into bowls. We also had some leftover sushi in the fridge so we put that on the side with some soy sauce. Yum!

"Wow...this looks so nice..." My mouth was watering just looking at it.

"My grandma always used to make the best food!"

We placed the food on the dining table and sat down. I sipped a bit of my unsweetened lemonade before digging in. It tasted so nice. Her cooking is so good.

We finished eating and I offered to wash up because she made the food.

I finished and I sat down on the sofa.

"So uh, what now?"

"I don't know what do you want to do?"

"Should we go for a drive?"

"Sure. Let's have dessert somewhere"

I sat up and grabbed my coat and car keys.

"Pass me the keys, I'll drive" Sana said.

I threw her the keys and she caught them effortlessly.

"Ooh nice catch" she winked at me.

We got in the car and she started driving through the busy but bright streets. There were shops open and because it was dark the scenery looked even better.

"Are you going to school tomorrow?" She asked.

"Hm, I'm not sure...should I?"

"Yeah. I'll help you catch up on the work materials.

We drove around for a bit longer. I looked out the window for a bit and captured the night view in my mind. It was so pretty.

Suddenly I started seeing double. I felt a banging pain in my head. I whined and clasped my face in my hands. Sana stopped the car on the side of the road.

"Y/N! Are you okay?"

I looked up at her. She looked so pretty, the prettiest girl on the planet...

I brought my hand up to her face and caressed it slowly. The pain went away after.

"I-I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me"

"It's fine. Let's go back home"
