Y/N's Pov

I felt a breeze of wind blow against my cheek. My eyes fluttered open with the sunlight seeping through the fabric of the curtains and immediately hitting me. From the corner of my eye, I noticed someone laying under the covers beside me. Their arms were wrapped around me and a leg was placed on top of mine.

My mind flashbacked to the events of last evening.

Sana, my girlfriend as of last night, was laying beside me. I felt my face flush and the person beside me stir. She adjusted her position and I quickly shut my eyes, pretending to be asleep.

A soft hand gently caressed my cheek and my eyes automatically opened by themselves.

"Oh! Did I wake you up, babe?"

The way she calls me babe always gets me.

I shook my head. In fact, I slept like a log last night. That was probably one of the best sleeps that I've had.

Looking deep into her eyes, I saw a warmth. A warmth that I could confide in. Her eyes twinkled with love and her lips curved into a soft smile. Looking at her made me want to smile too. She looked like a goddess right now, even if she just woke up. No wonder I fell for her, who wouldn't?

"It's time to wake up" she arose from her sleeping position and opened the curtains before coming back to kiss me on the forehead and go to the bathroom.

We ate breakfast and Sana went to go to her part time job. I felt lonely. I took out my phone and sent a message to Sana.

I put my phone down beside me and lay down on the sofa. I shut my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

A ping coming from next to me awoke me from my slumber. I grabbed my phone and checked the message.

Jake broski🤨📸

>can we meet up again, I wanna know your decision.

I responded to him saying to meet at the usual coffee shop in half an hour.

I got changed into joggers, a tank top, and a jacket and got ready to go out. As I was walking out, the front door opened. Sana was back.

"How was work love?" I hugged her.

"Tiring, there were loads of customers" she sighed.

"Where are you going?"

"I have to go meet Jake again"

"Ah, ok. Don't keep him waiting then"

I nodded and rushed out of the house, realising that I was late. Luckily, it was just around the corner from our flat.
