"The kiss"

Am I hearing this right? Did she just say she liked the kiss?

I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Do you wanna kiss again?"

Her face froze.

"I-I was joking. Sorry" I lied blatantly.

"I'm not. What if I said yes? If I did want to kiss you?"

I parked the car outside our apartment.

"I'd kiss you"

I looked into her sparkling eyes. I didn't know what was going on in my mind, but I knew that this was the right time to kiss her.

I looked down at her lips and moved my head closer to hers slowly. She started to get impatient so she cupped my face and pushed her lips onto mine.

At first, I was shocked, so I couldn't kiss her back, but then I realised that this was real, we were in this moment right now together.

Our lips moved in sync, as if we were made for each other.

She pulled away and blinked at me. "Am I dreaming? Is this real?" I chuckled at her words.

"No, you're not dreaming, this is real. I'll kiss you again to prove it"

I pushed my lips back onto hers and she kissed me back.

After a few moments, we pulled away.

"You know, I really like-no, I love you. Since I woke up from that coma, I've realised that you're the one meant for me. You've looked after me all this time and you charmed me with your laugh, your cute smile, the little actions you do. Everything. So, Minatozaki Sana, I think I've fallen for you"

She giggled "I've liked you before you even got into a coma, silly. You don't know how long I've been waiting for this day. Sim Y/N, I love you.

My eyes started to water.

Is she telling the truth? Did she really like me all this time? How could I not have noticed?

"Wait so, does that meant we're...you know, dating?" I blushed hardly.

"Yes" my eyes lit up in the dark.

"We're dating now, babe" wait is that my pet name?

"Babe? I was gonna call you that!"

"Then I'll call you babe instead"

"Fine, love" I exaggerated the love part.

Her face turned red.

"YAH! DON'T MAKE ME BLUSH LIKE THAT!!"

"Oh? I make you blush do I, love?"

She lightly slapped my arm and covered her face to hide the fact that she was blushing intensely.

Now I can finally sleep in peace.

We entered the house and I went to brush my teeth and have a shower whilst Sana did her own thing.

I came out of the shower only to find Sana lying on my bed. I sat down and started to dry my hair with the towel and with the noise she woke up.

"Hey babe" she yawned. It's still gonna take time for me to get used to that name.

My cheeks became warm but I cleared my throat, being thankful it was dark so she couldn't see me.

"I saw a spider in my bedroom. Could I sleep here tonight?"

I raised my eyebrow at her. Did she really see a spider though?

"Oh, show me where it is I'll get it"

"NO! I mean, no. I already threw it away. I'm just scared about whether it laid eggs or not"

I knew she was lying the way she got so panicked.

Cute.

I poked her cheek and she pouted. I used the hair dryer and did my stuff before lying in bed next to her.

I was sleeping faced to her and she was facing me.

I checked my breath just in case I breathed on her face. It smells like toothpaste. As it should.

The atmosphere was so tense. I just couldn't shut my eyes.

I decided to turn around because I couldn't stop admiring her beautiful features in my mind.

I started to shut my eyes, but they kept opening back up. It was like I was sleepy but I wasn't?

I tried to move around, changing positions. I felt uncomfortable in this bed.

I felt an arm snake it's way around my waist, pulling me closer. She wrapped her leg around mine too.

"Shhhh, just stay like this babe" she softly kissed the back of my neck and I felt a shivering sensation find it's way down my spine.

Her embrace was warm and relaxing, like a mothers.

Wait-mommy?

I blushed at the thought and tried to ignore it.

My dirty mind is about to ruin this moment.

I closed my eyes and inhaled her gentle scent before I found myself slowly falling asleep in her arms.
