As soon as she finished dinner, she rushed to the war room, where Aleksander was facing the round table. Bianca inched closer to him and intertwined her fingers with his.
"Do we have any whereabouts on the stag?" Aleksander asked
"North of Chernast, it was last seen there" Bianca replied, pointing to the icy area on the map.
"It's on the Fjerdan border, do you think they're really hunting the stag?"
"I think they're nearing the ice by now" she replied, though, failing to coat her worry.
"What is it that worries you? Hmmm"
"Let's say we found the stag, what's next? If we're planning for her to obtain its power, it shouldn't be a problem if she's killing it. You have more"
"I didn't lie when I said that we'd give her an amplifier" he reasoned, inching closer to Bianca
"I know the difference between lies and half truths" she challenged. "Tell me the whole truth"
"You won't like it"
"Aleksander, tell me" she said with a glare. "Better now than later"
He sighed and guided her to his bedroom without saying a word, which made Bianca a step closer into getting the truth out of him by force.
"Why are we here?"
"To answer your question," he reached out to take out her kefta, but she slapped his hand away. Shadows started to cocoon them both
'Someone's horny'
'His blood flow is rushing somewhere we don't want to know about'
"Go ahead, I'm listening" she said, taking off her kefta by herself painfully slow. "Go on Aleks, I'm listening" she repeated.
"The amplifier isn't just to amplify her power. If I slaughter the animal, and give Alina the antlers, while I take another piece of it, I can have access to her light."
'WHAT'
'THAT TOOK A TURN'
"Don't tell me you're going to do that"
"It's the only way, my love"
"Aleksander, tell me, you want more power, right?" Bianca asked, even though she knew his answer
"She alone may not be able to do it"
"No, she can. Are you choosing this way because you can't find a way to convince her?"
"Yes, it's the only way. She believes that we're destroying the fold, if she knew about this she'll change her mind. The last thing we can afford is losing her"
"I know, but why do you want to have access to her light while she can control it?" she asked. He already had his kefta off, so she took off his coat, revealing a black shirt underneath.
"She alone may not be able to do it" he answered, his shadows getting darker. Bianca approached him, despite his frightening demeanor.
"There is more" she whispered. She slid her hands from the back of his neck to his chest, then back to his neck up to his hair.
"Don't stop" he mumbled, yanking her body close to his. "You know that this is my weakness, and you chose to torture me to get answers"
"I did, and I won't stop, only if you tell me the whole truth" she replied with a low innocent voice
"You're going to be the death of me" he grunted, cupping her curves. "I want to be the one controlling the fold. The only way is to have access to her sunlight because she won't cooperate"
