Bianca grabbed her cloak, which was identical to her wool kefta, and headed outside where the carriages were waiting. Everyone was situated there, Bianca took a seat facing David, shortly, Aleksander sat next to her.

Sooner than Bianca had expected, they reached the location. It was a busy inn, crowded with people. Everyone poured out of the carriages as soon as they stopped, and people inched away from them.

"Stay," Aleksander told David. "I don't need you out there." He scanned the area himself, bearing his usual unreadable expression. "And?"

"The wagon matches the one that was reported stolen from the Little Palace" informed Ivan, pointing to the horseless carriage

"They must've continued on horseback. Faster and harder to track" Zoya claimed

A guard was about to open the wagon, and Bianca was the only one to notice the action.

"Don't!" she yelled, but it was too late.

The guard opened the back and then the wagon exploded. Bianca summoned a protective shield to prevent anyone from being hurt by the explosion. Everyone was pouring out of the inn, but Bianca saw three people dressed in dark clothes move in the opposite direction.

"The thieves are still here, it's their alarm," Bianca warned. "Find them, and bring them alive, have at least one partner"

The grisha nodded, Ivan and Fedyor went together, while Zoya and Polina teamed up. As soon as Bianca moved, Aleksander grabbed her arm firmly.

"No, stay here. I don't want you to get hurt again"

"Aleksander I can protect myself" Bianca replied, shaking his arm gently

"They killed Pavel and kidnapped Alina, you were a target, I won't risk it."

"Yet you tend to forget that I'm a general like you, shadow man"

"Fine," he sighed in defeat. "But be careful"

Bianca nodded before rushing after Polina, who was summoning fire after a Suli girl, burning down some of the area and rushed after her.

"I'd wait until a healer is close by before you pull this out, or you'd bleed out in 30 seconds" the Suli woman seethed.

Before she pulled out her knife, Bianca summoned a barrier of shadows between her and Polina. She then summoned the cut and was about to aim it on the woman before she spoke.

"You're a friend of sankta Alina,'' she whispered. "I don't wish to fight you. Alina Starkov escaped us, she's safe"

"Did you hurt her?" Bianca asked

"No, never"

"Alright, leave before my fellow grisha find you. I don't wish to hurt you if you didn't hurt her."

The Suli nodded and disappeared. Bianca rushed towards Polina and took the knife out. She then closed the wound before Polina bled out and healed her completely and increased her heartbeat, waking her up.

"You okay?" asked Bianca

"Fine," she replied, "Thank you"

"Don't mention it, go with Zoya now"

She nodded and left the area, Bianca then walked out and followed Ivan and Fedyor.

"Did you find him?" she whispered

"No, we saw him head into this area" replied Fedyor. They all raised their hands and started to track the heartbeat.

"I may not see you just yet, but I can hear your heart racing, boy" she heard Ivan taunt
