19 year old Bianca draped a cloak over her, covering her trousers and shirt. She fiddled around with the green bracelet on her left wrist and turned to the trail in front of her home, preparing for a small stroll around the border.

"I miss you noodles" she muttered

'B he didn't forget about you'

'He thinks about you just like how you think about him, you know'

'I still miss him'

'Wait B I sense heartbeats, too many of them'

'Who can possibly be here at this hour?'

"Oi you! What are you doing over there?" called a gruff voice

"Shit"

"First army"

"Are you ravkan?" another asked, but the moment Bianca was about to answer, she heard loud barks from afar.

"Quick, it's the Fjerdans, take the girl with you" asserted the eldest of the soldiers, which bianca assumed was their leader

"I got youuuu all figured out"

"Shut up shadow"

"I want my last words to be creative"

Bianca's wrist was grabbed by one of the soldiers as they ran through the ice. She called on her shadows and directed it to the man's finger tips. His fingers darkened, the cells began to decay, and he slipped out of consciousness, the plague. She put her hands behind her back, covered by her cloak, and stopped their heartbeats to speed up the process. She grabbed a gun and shot as many as she could get to coat her powers

"Run!" called the leader of the druskelle, "he's got the plague"

"You're coming with me" the leader of the soldiers concluded

"The hell I am," she snarled, "I have a family to go back to"

"They're probably in questioning or dead," he shook his head. "The Fjerdans are scanning this area, found out that one of their kind was a grisha who escaped them. Come with me and I'll explain everything, child"

'B I think we should create song notes with his heartbeat and get the fuck out'

'No, he seems like he knows something. Madraya and dad and I were on the run for a long time, and our cottage is underground, I wouldn't worry about them'

'She has a point, you know'

She called onto both her heart and shadow, trying to call out for her parents, whether it was their soul or remains.

"Madraya? Dad?"

Nothing, not a sign, not a body, nothing. They weren't dead, and she let out a sigh of relief

"They're not dead, I feel them"

"Don't be ridiculous girl, these druskelle are lethal-"

Bianca felt her heartbeat increase rapidly, as she begun to see black dots, slipping out of consciousness. The last thing she saw was a man in a red coat, a kefta.

Bianca fluttered her eyes open, she was at a small dark cabin, alone. She turned to see if anyone was nearby, and took out her decipher and a crumpled parchment.

Send men to the unsea, for they who shouldn't be named, the allies of the witches, will cross from our land

Before she was able to comprehend the meaning of the message, a few soldiers were surrounding her, along with the same old man. She had enough time to place her papers back into her pockets.
