Part 13

*PETERS POV*

I roll myself over and flip the light switch on the table on the side of my bed, I quickly shut my eyes and feel around for the light switch so I can turn it off, I feel something move and look down to see Kate laying on my chest "what's wrong Pete?" she says looking up to me "can you whisper please, I'm having a sensory overload and it sounds like your yelling into my ear" I say resting my head against the back of the bed "oh sorry, this better?" she says in a quiet whisper "much better thanks" I say pressing a kiss to her cheek "you should rest for the day, me and Clint are going out to get me a new bow after the lizard guy broke it, if you need me you can always call me" she says sitting up.

*KATES POV*

As much as I was looking forward to getting a new bow fwith Clint I felt kinda bad about leaving Pete while he's having a sensory overload "earth to Kate" Clint says waving his hand in front of my face "w-what?" I say "I asked if your ok" he says "yeah, I just feel bad I left while petes ill" I say fiddling with my finger to keep myself preoccupied "that makes sense" he says as we approach the quinjet "whyre we taking the jet?" I say sitting in the co-pilot seat "you'll see" he says sitting in the main seat, we take off and start flying away from the compound, we fly for about 15 minutes before Clint announces our arrival "there's nothing here" I say looking out the windshield "oh is that so" he says before turning the jet off "Clint!" I yell trying to grab the controls, we make impact with something, I look outside and see we've landed on nothing? I look over to Clint who put a headset on "ok nick, hit it" suddenly I see what we landed on start to appear "Holy shit" I mutter "Kate Bishop, welcome to the helicarrier" Clint said in a "spooky" voice, I rush to the exit of the quinjet and step out onto the helicarrier "nice to meet you Ms Bishop" Holy shit nick fury is standing in front of me "h-hi" I say as he outstretches his hand "nice to see you Barton" fury says as he signals for us to follow him "How's Pete, I haven't seen him for a while" he says as we reach the elevator "he's good" I say as we reach the inside of the helicarrier "I'll have to drop by and see him" he says talking to a random shield agent "go to the lab, your new equipment will be there" he says as me and Clint head to the aforementioned lab, I pick the bow and an arrow up to test it out, I pull the arrow back before releasing it, It bounced off the wall and hit a tube "if fury asks I'm blaming you" I say as I see a glint of fear in clints eyes "I hate you" he says as I take the bow and hang it over my shoulder "we made you something else" a shield agent says as he opens a box and reveals a black thing that looked like a massive gun holster "it's somewhere to keep your bow without hanging it over your shoulder" he says as I take it from the box and clip it around my neck, I put the bow near the bow holster and it magnetised to it "it's keyed to your dna so only you can remove it" he says trying to grab it to demonstrate "cool" I say to myself before grabbing it myself and removing it, I put it back in the holster before exiting the room and going back to fury "thank you so much nick" I say shaking his hand "it's no problem, bye you two" he says as me and Clint head back to the quinjet.

*PETERS POV*

After Kate had left I rested for a bit so I could go about my day relatively normally, I spent some time with Tony today in his lab, he let me choose my music which composed of nirvana and foo fighters (I was listening to foo fighters while writing this) we worked on his suit a bit, we even worked on my suit as well, then me and Steve trained in the gym for a few hours, me and thor visited asgard and I met loki (should I add loki in this?) then me and wanda played games together, she beat me, aunt lena watched star wars with me while we ate ice-cream and cuddled, now I'm laying my head on mom's shoulder waiting for Kate to come back "we're back" I hear clints voice come through with kate beside her, I run up to her and swoop her up in my arms and kiss her "I missed you" I say as she snuggles her head into my shoulder "come on, lets sit down, tell me about your day" I say walking back to the sofa with her in my arms.

*KATES POV*

After I told Pete about my day he told me about his "anyone up for a movie night?" yelena said holding up a few dvds, a variety of different responses filled the room and before we know it everyone is sat down watching the fist taken film.
