*KATES POV*

Me and pete has been on patrol all day, we had stopped a few muggings and 1 car theft but overall it was still quite a relaxed day. After we stopped the car theft Pete and me went up to a building and he made a Web hammock which me and him were currently laying in "how does a film marathon sound when we get back?" Pete says playing with a, strand of my hair "sounds good, what films?" I say readjusting my position on the hammock "haven't thought that far ahead" he replied chuckling slightly "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it" we end up watching YouTube videos on his phone for a bit before his phone started ringing "hey, what's up?" he says as I do my best to sit up without falling off "okay, bye" he hangs up his phone and motions for me to snuggle up to him again "who was that?" I say as the sun starts setting "lena wanted to know when we'll get back" he says before his phone starts ringing again "goddammit" he mutters to himself before answering "OK" he takes it away from his face and turns on speaker "sorry for the unannounced call but its urgent" yuris voice came through the phone "what is it captain?" I say as Pete reaches his hand out so I can sit up "we're getting reports of a giant lizard man" wreaking havok at the roxxon building can you go and sort it out" she says before hanging up "that sounds fun" Pete says before grabbing my waist "ready?" I nod before he leaps off the Web hammock and we start swinging to roxxon.

We arrive shortly and see a giant lizard killing police "hey buddy catch" I say shooting an arrow at him "your primitive weapons don't scare me girl" he says tearing the arrow out of his shoulder and breaking it by squeezing gently "that was my favourite arrow" I say as Pete webs it's eyes, I run up to him and punch his face a few times before he rips the webs of his eyes and grabs me "Kate!" he throws me at Pete who catches me "hi" I say before getting out of his arms and facing the lizard guy. I shoot an ice arrow which freezes his arm in place so Pete can get in there and attack "your ignorance is getting on my nerves!" he swipes wildly at us luckily we dodged before "keep him distracted, I need to call in some back-up" I take out a shock arrow and an ice arrow i fire one at his tail which keeps him in place before using the shock arrow to paryilise him temporarily. "How's backup coming along" I say as Pete comes back into the fight "lena and mom are coming we just need to keep him busy till then" he says ducking under an attack "that I can do" I say kicking the lizard guy in the shins "fools!" he grabs Pete and slams him on the ground "that'll hurt in the morning" he says as I pound on the lizard guys face, he tries biting me but I knee his stomach which makes him stumble backwards, Pete jumps on him and uses him like a trampoline (like he does with thanos in If with all the portals minus the portals) I wack him with my bow, he stumbles back as Pete webs him towards us which earns him another wack with the bow, I jump on his back and wrap the string of my bow to choke him, he's about to fall unconscious when he uses his claw to cut the string of my bow "fuck you man" I say running up his back and kicking him in the face, I see Pete web his arm to the ground but he uses his strength to escape the webs, I run up to the guy and slide kick him, he falls to one knee and I punch him in the face mid-slide. We see the quinjet arrive above us and like promised Nat and lena came out "more idiots perfect" the lizard guy says before lena starts stabbing him with a knife she got from god knows where while Nat hits him with her shock batons, Pete webs his eyes once again which gives me an opertunity to  kick him in the face, after many hits, stabs and webs later he finally passes out. "thanks" Pete says as lena hugs him "you OK?" Nat says to me "never better" I look over to Pete whose signalling the two of us to join the hug. Who knew the most intimidating avengers were such good huggers? We stand their talking for a bit before getting into the quinjet and heading back to the compound, we arrive and pete collapses on the sofa while taking his mask off breathing heavily, I sit next to him and run a hand along is chest "by the way Clint I need a new bow" I say showing him the remains of my old one "well get one tomorrow" he says as me and pete get our film marathon as promised with us all snuggled together
