the team was in the middle of a big case that they had been one for the last three weeks it was a gang that was killing rapists, child abusers, and molesters sort of people.

considering who they were killing wasn't a bad thing I mean they're getting the scum of humanity off the streets well that's what jay thought and probably the rest of the team but murder was still a crime and we needed to stop them.

they had rounded down to who was in the gang there were 15 on the 9 females and 6 males but the problem now was is that they had to find them and they were smart only used cash never communicated face to face, never stayed in one place and never used their real name to anyone but lucky for them most of there fingerprints were in the system for little thing.

"hey we have a sighting on one of the men down at the river get suited up ill text the description and name," Voight said and they all ran down the stairs and drove to the location.

once they all arrived they met up with the patrol officer who gave is the tip and pointed to the abandoned where the house where the perp walked into and also mention he had another patrol on all exits.

they all walked towards the warehouse that was about 200 yards away from them and split up Hailey with jay, Adam and Kevin and Kim with Voight.

Jay and Hailey took the south entrance and slowly walked into the building when Voight gave them the all-clear with their guns raised.

the warehouse was rarely simple not a lot of places to hide since it was just empty rooms but that was only in that area of the building. both Jay and Hailey walked into another room to clear it when stopped to see columns and pipes everywhere and also platforms.

"oh great this is going to be like a game of expert hide and seek," Jay said.

"Just keep your eyes open and don't do anything stupid," Hailey said.

they both split up each taking a different side of the room.

Jay clear every bit of his side except one little part when he saw movement.

"Chicago PD comes out with your hands up," he said going round a large column and over a pipe.

what he didn't expect though was somebody right behind him holding a metal pole the man smacked him over the head and Jay hit the floor completely unconscious.

"Chicago PD" Hailey said running toward the man and the man surrendered knowing that he won't end well if he ran.

Hailey cuffed the guy and called for an ambulance as she saw the state of Jay and told the team where she and Jay were.

"hey jay bud you gotter wake up," she said shaking him but got nothing he was out cold.

the team gt there and saw Jay.

"what happened," Voight said.

"got jumped by that prick and he is out of it," she said.

Kim went over to him to check his eyes and pulse.

"he is reacting to light and he has a strong pulse which is a good sign," she said and the paramedics made their way up with a patrol officer.

they got Jay onto a gurney and walk down and into the ambulance, Hailey hopped him with Jay just as he started to wake up.

"what happened," Jay said groggily covering his eyes from the light.

"you got jumped by that guy and were on the way to med," Hailey said.

"no med in fine" Jay said trying to get up but was pushed down by both the paramedic and Hailey.

"that's not happening you could have damaged something we need to make sure nothing is wrong and die on us," she said.

"I think I have proven enough time the fact that I am immortal," he said.

"So then why do you carry on getting hurt then," she said.

"for the thrill," he said.

they made it into the hospital and they rushed him to a ct scan which came back clean met he only have a small concussion and was able to go home that night but with supervision.

they had solved the case whilst Hailey was keeping Jay company at the hospital and when I mean that I mean she was trying to make sure he didn't escape and hurt himself even more.

after about three hours jay had been discharged and both Hailey and Jay were on here way to his since he was staying with him until he can be alone
