it had been a hectic week for the team they had just finished a case involving a kidnapped 4-year-old and after several cups of coffee and little sleep they were finally able to find the kid safe and only with some bumps and bruises and now both Hailey and Jay were driving back to the district after just arresting the perp.
Hailey was driving since Jay's eczema was flaring up and his jeans were irritating it so he tried not to move his legs. they pulled into the car park and she turned to him "hey you want me to grab our stuff and you stay here so then we can go get you home"
"Please," he said.
"ok hang tight," she said jumping out of the truck and jogging inside. she only took about five minutes and now they were on their way home.
once they got home they both slowly made their way up to their apartment it was extremely uncomfortable but they did it once they were in the comfort of their home Jay instantly stopped down to his boxers.
"you go get your moisturiser on and ill go grab your meds and some for you to eat," Hailey said walking into the kitchen. hailey walked into their bedroom where jay was and sat next to him as he was putting cream on.
"you need help," she asked him passing him his meds.
"no, I just need to do this leg then put the stockings on," he said and she nodded.
"you hungry I'm gonna order in," she asks.
"Can I have a kebab please," he asks.
"yeh ill go order it now give me a shout if you need help," she said walking out of the bedroom to order.
they all got showered and out of their work clothes and were now sat on the couch eating their takeout.
"you know I think you should take tomorrow off to let eczema cool down a bit," she said.
"I don't know we'll see in the morning" he sighed.
"you'll be fine," she said. nudging his shoulder.
"I know but it just sucks sometimes," he said putting his head on her shoulder.
"I love you," she said into his hair
"love you more," he said back lifting his head and kissing her on the lips and then going back to his food.
the following morning Jay's eczema wasn't okay enough to go to work so he had to take the day of which he didn't like but he was definitely happy when he found out that Hailey called in for them both to take the day off.
