i smiled down at the messages. he made my heart warm. my phone buzzed again expecting harry to still be messaging me but it came up from ethan. i thought he was filming aswell?
ethan hey cel, can we meet like rn i need to ask and tell you something
celeste is everything okay? oh and sure where and when?
ethan yeah everything's amazing i just really need to talk to you about something meet up in 1 hour at the cafe you and faith always go to.
i was super confused what was happening but went along with it. it can't be anything to do with faith as he was talking about her. i decided to get ready despite not knowing what was going to happen...
i arrived at the cafe cautious about what was to become. ethan was already sat down and gave me a huge smile when i walked over leaving me even more confused than i already was. "hey cel, sorry this is so random" "is everything okay?" i asked giving my concern. "i want to ask faith to marry me but i need your help" my mouth opened in shock which turned into a huge toothy smile. i screamed which my have caused people to stare but i didn't care. MY BEST FRIENDS WERE GETTING MARRIED. i pulled him in for a huge hug before letting him finish our conversation. "how can i help?" "so i was thinking me, you, faith and harry go to Paris for a weekend "best friends" trip. you and harry can get personal time as well. one of the nights we'll go to a lovely restaurant which shows of the view of the Eiffel tower. you and harry go 'get something' but hide and record the whole thing. i propose she'll hopefully say yes." wow is all i could say. he'd really thought this through. it was really sweet actually. "i'd love to help. does harry know?" "i was thinking you could surprise him maybe as a late Christmas present. i was thinking around the beginning of february to go so i can plan for a few more months and get hotels, flights and everything else ready. i'm dead nervous though. you don't think i'm rushing things, do you?" "ethan listen to me. when it was harry's birthday party she was saying about how she's longing to get married soon. she loves you so so much and you love her for infinity. she's mad if she doesn't say yes because your soulmates and deserve each other." "thank you so much cel it means a lot i better get back to the sidemen shoot. i hope this all works out okay." "it will" we have each other a hug again before both going out separate ways.
i arrived back at my shared apartment to find cal fast asleep across our sofa. i tried to sneak past him but was stopped by him pulling me on the sofa. "CAL" i shouted at him "film a cook off with me please and we'll get behz and harry round" "okay okay i'll do it but i need to get dressed and not look like a homeless mole." cal laughed at my comment letting me walk over towards mine and harry's now shared bedroom. i picked out some oversized joggers and a tight sage green tank top which i paired with the necklace faith bought for me on my 22nd last year. i was turning 23 on christmas day it was crazy.
harry and behz arrived at our apartment as me and freezy were setting up our recording equipment. "what's going on here?" harry questioned. "we're filming a cook off for my channel and you guys are the judges. and harry don't pick your girlfriend we all know i'm the better chef." "of course cal, cel sucks" he laughed winking at me. "i bet your both shit" ethan shouted out which for all of us in giggles.
"and we're recording" "hi guys welcome back we have celeste here and today we are doing another cook off challenge! we have £20 to spend at the shop. and we'll be back when we've got everything." we both grabbed our money and ran to the closest supermarket was. i grabbed all i needed to make my sweet and sour chicken a personal favourite of mine. i grabbed all my ingredients and we both arrived back at our flat.
all our food was finished and we were serving our meals on plates. cal had made a carbonara which was pretty basic if you ask me. he went first. i'd remembered how picky Ethan and harry were so was kinda dreading it. "cal cal cal this is shit" Ethan said which made me giggle which got a glare. "Ethan payne shut up its amazing it's my mothers recipe" cal replied "tell your mother she makes a shit carbonara" harry said which caused me to chuckle even more. "celeste yours isn't much better still pretty shite if you ask me" i looked at harry with a hand on my heart being sarcastic. "rude you whispered in my ear it was peng like me a minute ago." i winked at him which caused him to blush. "okay okay i get it celeste wins. congrats" i jump around with my hands in the air and high five Ethan and harry pulling harry in for a kiss at the end.
we all collapsed on the sofa after a tiring day where i haven't done a lot. harry and cal decided they wanted to film a reddit video together which left me and ethan on the sofa still. "is it a bad idea proposing to faith? freya and josh have been together for years and there still not married. am i moving to fast?" this was the first time i'd ever seen Ethan look vulnerable and scared. "Ethan look at me in the eyes" he looked up and stared at them. "i promise you two are not rushing at all. you both love each other and at harry's party she was talking about marriage to me. trust me behz your doing the right thing" i grabbed hold of both his hands and squeezed them before pulling him in for a hug. Behz was probably the closet sidemen i was too apart from harry of course. he was like the sibling id never had. "thanks cel i better get going now. i'll bring round the tickets so you can give them to harry for Christmas. i hope this works out." he let go out of the hug walking towards the door and waving. i sighed as he shut the door and stared into the atmosphere around me. did i wanna get married soon? me and harry have only just started dating so it's in the future but life was catching up on all of us and the time would never be better to get married. why am i thinking of this? me and harry have only been dating around a month or two. thoughts of marriage and kids fluttered all about my head when i came to the fact i was only 22 and still had years to come before even thinking of marriage and kids. i'm happy where i am at the moment with harry and my job. life was on smooth sailing.
