"Hey Heather?"
I tied my hair in ponytail as I enter our room. As always, it is always white.
"What do you want Daniels?!" I nearly shouted.
"Whoah, I was just gonna ask you-"
"Out?" Stacey wriggled her eyebrows and walked in our front.
"What? No!" Ric laughed in response. "Actually, I wanted you two to be at my welcome party celebration."
I stared at him. "Really? A welcome party?" I said in monotone.
"Why do you have to be that way to Ric?" Stacey said in her ever famous tone.
I rolled my eyes and Ric pinch my nose.
"Hey!" I slap his hands. "That hurts!" I glare daggers at him while he chuckles in response.
Jerk.
His phone made a loud noise and his ringing tone was Sugar by Maroon 5.
"Oops. This is my friend, I really got to see him. We haven't seen each other for years."
"It has only been 3 years Ric."
"Yeah. Whatever." he says. "Just be there!" he then walked away.
Stacey grinned ear to ear.
"What? I hate the man." I said to her.
"Simmer down Heather. Simmer down." she chuckled.
Throughout the whole duration of my classes, Stacey kept on giving me lovey dovey eyes and somehow I really want to target her eyes with my pen, but that would mean me as a suspect.
Urgh. This day won't get any wiser than it already is.
My memory draws back again to Ric. That man is just- really annoying! He dragged me to our program head- thank God Carlisle already left when Ric the annoying asshole dragged me and made me his partner for what it seems like a project.
"Why the hell would I want to be your partner?!" I shouted at Ric in the corridor.
"Geez, your voice is just so.." Ric closed his eyes and covers his ears.
"So what?!" I sneered.
"So..high pitched." He laughed. Can this man be mature for once?! "Look, I told Mr or Ms. Craven that you could be my partner because I'm new here! And because..."
I rolled my eyes. "You're new and you already have a project?" I stared at Ric, he smiled widely.
"Okay. No. I don't have a project but I really want you to be there." he said to me with puppy eyes.
"Why me of all people?"
"Because.." Ric hugged me.
"Why are you hugging me?" I asked him, slowly pushing him away but God he's strong.
"Just stay still, will you?" he calmly said.
"You know its prohibited to hug inside the university, right?"
"Yes I do Heather, but just- stay still." he said again.
"You know, I like your new hair Grace."
"Don't call me Grace!" I hissed.
"Yeah yeah whatever Grace."
I kicked his foot.
"Ow! Jesus that hurts." he said in pain.
I smirked. "Well I told you didn't I?"
I pushed him away now. "What's with all the hugging thing Ric?"
He awkwardly laugh, "Nothing. I was just, you know.. Hugging."
"Just answer the goddamn question goddammit!" I hissed.
"My ex just kinda showed up." he says straightly.
My eyes went wide. "G-Gwen?"
"Why are you so afraid of her? No! Not Gwen." I sigh, thank God. "Veronica. Veronica Holmes."
Oh yeah. "F.ck Ric. Veronica?" I asked. "Do you know how well she is playing with fire?"
"Well she's a fire dancer back in Hawaii-"
"Yuck. I really don't want to hear that!" I slap him.
"Oh hush."
"Yeah whatever Ric. Back to the original question. Why me of people?"
Ric held his breath. "Lets just say that I just really want YOU to be there Grace."
"For the last f.cking time-"
"Guys! There you are!"
Great Stacey. Just great.
I weirdly pinch my nose in the process of writing everything our professor said in our class. Stacey found Ric and I amusing, which throughout the class she kept on throwing me her most sweet but really annoying smile.
Just our class was dismissed. I held on my shoulder bag and Stacey began talking about her Mom being mom. Seriously.
In the corner of the hallway I saw Ric talking to Leo and Clin. They are like famous and just as I grabbed and turn around to not face Ric and his venomous acts, the demon himself called us.
"Simmer down, hun. Simmer down." Stacey said.
Okay Heather. Simmer down.
