Earth.

3/4 water

1/4 land

The only planet that can sustain life in the Solar System, but humans are worse-

"Miss Arnolds?" I snapped my head to the front, not continuing on what was I doing.

"Yes sir?"

"What are you doing?"

I look down to see my notebook and pen, "Writing sir."

He seemed unconviced, but he just shook it up. I went back on writing again, this class is boring the life out of me. I know I have to at least try to act like I love school, but this old man just keeps on picking every student in his class.

Yes, humans are worst. We live Earth, but we keep on making it worse every day. All we live right now, in this soceity is money and money. We kill animals, we hunt them down until their species are endangered, we cut woods for lumbers, we contaminate even the waters and air! Earth is precious, really really precious. Why? It is the only one planet that gives off oxygen.

And oxygen is the air we are breathing. Sometimes I wonder why God created humans in the first place, He knew that we humans are incapable of doing things the right way.

I wonder why humans have to be that way. I wonder why they even needed money anyway? I mean, money are the best- but killing them for having one is just doesn't seem right.

How come everyone is just being an idiot about their wastes? How come everyone is dying to get a new house if they have one?

I mean, why transform the forest into a city full of bullshits?

And why does everyone seems to be obsessed about getting into a class AAA life?

Life is life. We live and die.

I stare at the board for three minutes and decided to make a note of what he was saying, but he just keeps on picking on us.

First was Amanda, then Claire- Leo.

Wait, there is something wrong.

"Hey Stacey, since when did our class became exquisite?" I whispered.

"Where have you been?" Stacey rolled her eyes, "Since earlier, did you even not noticed we are in the theater? Hence we are the center of attraction-" she gestured cameras and as I wander my eyes in the room, I found my face in the big screen in the right.

Shit.

"Ah, Miss-" he looks down again in his papers, "Miss Arnolds. Back to earth eh?" he questions.

I open my mouth to speak but nothing came out.

"I have a question for you Miss." he said,

"Do you agree that life is amazing?"

I blinked three times for the question. Wow, that is just soo.. Deep.

Life? Amazing?

"I-uhm, I-" I got lots of ideas popping out in my head, but I can't seem to find any definite answers.

"It's okay Miss Arnolds, just try to evaluate life in your perspective." Mr. Todd incourages me.

I really don't think that I can speak for this one. But according to the books I read- Life is a precious gem that we could keep, but why is that, that in this world- the life that we have given still is being stolen?

I speak on my own terms for that one.

"I-I think each one of us has a different perspective in life Mr. Todd, but if you are asking me about what I really think about life, that I can't answer."

Mr. Todd tilted his head on the side and eyeing me curiously.

"He really finds this entertaining." whispered Stacey on my side.

I stare at Mr. Todd.

"Yeah, he really is." I whispered back.

"Care to elaborate why? Miss Arnolds?"

Ugh, can't he just shut up and just like.. Shut up? I mean, does he even understand personal space? I know this is an important day to our school, but really?

I wanted to roll my eyes to him but I refrained to do so, instead I grab my notebook in my desk- my notes about life- yeah, I keep on bringing it everywhere I want because I love writing and writing is an escape.

My escape.

"This notebook is an example of life." I turn to Mr. Todd and he nodded, "Some of you might think that life is just about learning, living, having fun and just wasting money- most that choices are true, believe me, but truth is, we have different perspective in life-

"As I said earlier that I cannot define what life is for me- I lied. Truth is I have my own definition of life. My life is rather complicated, I never did try to think outside the box for a long time because you know its complicated. But as I grew older and older everyday, I became curious on what is it that everyone here in this world are trying to find themselves through traveling?

"And that's why I enrolled Tourism Management- actually that is one of the many reasons why- but we already found ourselves, we have us. I think the best definition of finding yourself out there is- we escaped for the pain, we escape for the best and we escape because we know that we need to start again, it is not finding yourself, it is about recreating what you are missing.

And we live here, but we never seize the moment of sharing good deeds especially to where we are living. In some books I read, they say life is precious, they say we only live once so enjoy it. Get wasted and be free."

"But we shrugged the idea of life. We live the idea of others, not the idea of life as we knew ourselves did. You see, as you were living the life you wanted like wasting time in travelling- believe me I don't have any anger issues about travelling, its just an example. We forget the life out of us, the place, the planet. We didn't even knew what she was feeling because we are too caught up with the idea of living it. Our planet gives us more than what we could ask for, our planet loves us but we didn't even appreciate her. Life is about giving what you have, sharing it and caring it. Life doesn't revolve forever so we have to put an effort that we are still living."

"Your point is?" Mr. Todd surprises me.

I was taken aback, did I just said my definition? Why is this teacher is so dense sometimes?

I look around the room and I find Narrian laughing and her groups. Damn, why I didn't saw that we are in the theater- and damn, I didn't saw those seniors before. I even saw Carlisle blinking towards me, Ric eyes glued to mine, Stacey's breathing is keeping me cool I guess and most of all-

Our teachers were there in the back side.

I sigh, well- what do you know, someone is even more dumb than Patrick.

"Mr. Todds, my definition of life is, Earth."
