PT. 9

I sat on the stool in my kitchen waiting for Melo and whoever he wanted me to meet to show up. As I sat there I thought about what he said. This baby was changing me. If I saw him and I wasn't pregnant I would've said some disrespectful things that I would regret later.

But this baby has changed him too. Hes so much nicer and checks on me daily. When he said that he was cool if I wanted to keep the baby that really surprised me. Now I wonder what type of dad he'll be.

Before I could continue in my thoughts someone knocked on my door. I got up and checked the peep hole. I saw Melo and 3 other guys standing there.

I opened the door to see a smiling Melo

"Hey" he said hugging me

"Hi" I said hugging back

"Come in" I said moving so they all can walk in

Melo and the others walked into the living room. The three sat down but Melo stood. He spoke up again.

"Let me introduce yall" he said

"Mercury this is Elchum but we call him Rozier" he pointed to a guy on his right

"Wassup" Rozier said causing me to wave

"This is PJ" he said pointing to the guy in the middle

"Hi" he said causing me to wave as well

"And finally this is Miles" he said pointing to the guy on his left

"Hey" he said causing me to wave at him too

"Y'all this is Mercury" Melo said finally

"Your very beautiful" Rozier said

"Thank you"

"So your the woman that had by boi crying in practice" Miles said

"Wait what" I said looking over at Melo

"Yeah once y'all broke up he wasn't the same for 2 weeks" PJ added

"On really. I didn't know that" I said now staring at Melo

He looked at me then looked away

"Alright let's move from this" Melo said

"So why were you two seen with each other if your not together anymore" Rozier asked

Melo and I looked at each other then back at Rozier

"Well" Melo started but trailed off a little

"Alright let me cut to the chase so basically I'm pregnant and it's Melo's"

It was dead silent until Melo spoke

"Damn"

"What you were taking to long"

"Well ok" he said causing me to laugh

"How long have you known" PJ asked me

"For almost 3 months"

"Nice. Congrats"

"Thank u PJ"

Rozier and Miles also congratulated me and I thank them as well. These guys were really nice. I rock with them already.

Melo's pov

Watching Mercury with PJ, Rozier and Miles talk & laugh was cool. I don't know how to really put it but I'm glad they like her. When they met Ana they did not like her one bit and questioned her as to why she was with me.

If I had to chose between the two women I would go with Mercury 100%. Not because she's the mother of my child but because I was happier than I've ever been with her. After the whole Ashley thing I swore to never get into another relationship but Mercury was different which lead me to her. She liked me because I'm Melo, not because I'm LaMelo Ball.

She didn't care about the fame. The only reason Mercury and I broke up was because I just got drafted. It was a lot to take in. But Ana on the other hand does care about the fame. The only reason I'm really with her is because I needed someone to fulfill my sexual needs and to help me get over Mercury.

But now I realized that I can't. I need Mercury, I love Mercury, I want Mercury. If someone was to have my kids I would want it to be her.
