"Come on Buck, you can't be mad at me forever" Lexie stuck her bottom lip out and gently tugged the hem of Bucky's t-shirt as he stood at the kitchen worktop, stirring the cheese sauce he was making for a Mac and Cheese dinner.

"For the hundredth time Chip, I'm not mad at you!" Bucky chuckled slightly.

She huffed and folded her arms across her chest "could have fooled me.." she muttered bitterly as she skulked off back in to the living room.

They had gotten back home about a week ago, Bucky had insisted Lexie get her head checked out at the hospital, which she did and the doctors had told her she was lucky and it was a superficial wound that with a few stitches would heal just fine, but to rest and take it easy for a couple of weeks just to be safe. This advice Bucky had taken very seriously and hadn't let her lift a finger to do anything.. and I mean anything. They hadn't had sex, or anything even remotely close to sex since Sharon's bathroom in Madripoor, despite Lexie's best efforts and endless protesting. Bucky wasn't exactly enjoying it either, but the doctor told her to take it easy, and nothing about the way they had sex was taking it easy.

He handed her a bowl of Mac and Cheese as he sat down on the couch next to her " 'nk you" she mumbled.

"You're welcome grumpy pants" he laughed "so what do you want to watch?"

"Well I was actually thinking we could start watching one of my favourite shows, it's called True Blood"

Bucky scanned her face and noticed the slightest hint of a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth as she fought it back "Ok, but if you're trying to pull the same shit you did when you suggested we watched that Fifty Shades of Grey movie, I swear to god I will never let you pick again"

Lexie's face dropped in to a scowl and she slumped down, shovelling a forkful of food in to her mouth "watch whatever the fuck you want then"

He sighed heavily "come on baby, don't be like this"

"Like what?!" She snapped "you know it's starting to get hard for me to not take this personally. It seems like I'm the only one suffering here. You know, if you're over me already, got me out of your system or whatever then just say so. I can't bare this anymore"

"It's difficult for me too, but I just want to be sure you're ok. It really scared me Chip, I thought I'd lost you and when I saw the blood I feared the worst" he moved to rest his hand on her leg but she pulled away "I thought our relationship meant more to you than just sex?!" He snapped. He was starting to get angry that she couldn't, or wouldn't see it from his point of view.

She scoffed loudly "of course it fucking does, I fucking love you, you handsome hunk of shit. If you don't want me to think about having sex with you 7000 times a day then maybe you should try not being so fucking gorgeous!" Lexie was sat up now, her chest rising and falling with every heavy breath she took as her heart beat faster in her chest.

"Yeah, well I fucking love you too! And the same could be said for you, where do you get off being so fucking beautiful? Or so fucking sexy? And for the record, I never want you to stop thinking about having sex with me, about me fucking you, because I never stop thinking about it either. That should show you just how serious I am about you, that I can push that aside to ensure your health and well-being!" Bucky had leaned in closer, his breathing matching hers as they argued. The sexual tension making the air almost as thick as the cheese sauce that sat forgotten in their laps.

"I've told you a hundred times James, I'm fucking FINE" Lexie tried to stifle a smirk as she saw the vein in Bucky's temple pulse as she called him James.

Thanks to the grey sweatpants he was wearing not leaving much to the imagination, she could see that he was just as turned on by this argument as she was, she just needed for him to give her an opening, a chance for her to push him over the edge and lose control. She so desperately wanted him to lose control.
