Reluctantly Bucky, Lexie and Sam followed John away from the crowd and in to an abandoned warehouse, Lexie walking in the middle, each of them with an arm wrapped around her waist keeping her steady.

"Walker!" Sam called out

John turned on his heel and looked at the three of them "you guys should go to a hospital, she looks terrible"

"You're no prize winning pig either" Lexie muttered

John scoffed and turned to keep walking and Sam followed, letting go of Lexie. "Walker, stop!"

John spun angrily "What? You saw what happened. You know what I had to do. I killed him because I had to! He killed Lemar!"

"He didn't kill Lemar, John. You know that." Bucky called out as he gripped on to Lexie's waist.

John sighed heavily and ran his hand over his face

Bucky gently sat Lexie down on a crate by the wall before moving to stand side by side with Sam "Don't go down this road. Believe me, it doesn't end well."

"I'm not like you." John snarled "although our differences are fewer now" he added with a smirk

"What's that supposed to mean?" Bucky asked angrily

"He means he's a super soldier too. Right John?" Lexie called out from her spot leaning against the wall.

Bucky and Sam looked between Lexie and John with horrified expressions on their faces.

"How did you know?" John asked with a chuckle

"I may be concussed but I'm not blind. Karli and her men have the serum and I saw one of them land a punch on you that would have crushed a normal guys skull" she looked at Sam and Bucky "you guys seriously didn't notice?"

The both of them shook their heads and turned back to John "that's not what's important right now" Sam sighed "Listen, it was the heat of the battle. Okay? If you explain what happened, they may consider your record. We just don't want anyone else to get hurt."
He took a step forward "John... You gotta give me the shield, man."

John threw his head back and laughed maniacally "Oh, so that's what this is. You almost got me."

"You made a mistake." Sam continued, taking another step forward.

"You don't wanna do this." John warned adjusting his stance

Bucky advanced along side Sam "Yeah" he nodded "we do."

Lexie watched on helplessly as Bucky, Sam and John fought viciously. Her heart raced as she worried for the two people most important to her. She worried for Bucky even though she knew he was stronger and quicker and more skilled than John, but she worried more for Sam, John was stronger than him now with the stolen Serum running through his veins. She just had to hope Sam was smarter.

Bucky was trying to pull the shield away from John, but John spun around pulling the shield from Bucky's grip, Bucky made a grab for the gun strapped to Johns waist but it was knocked out of his hand and slid across the floor away from them. The sound of vibranium clashing against vibranium rang through the air with an ear piercing clang as Bucky threw punch after punch at John who blocked them all with the shield. John landed a hard punch to Bucky's cheek knocking him to the floor, he raised the shield above his head ready to bring it down on to Bucky. Lexie jumped off the crate ready to intervene somehow even though she knew she wouldn't stand a chance, but before she could move Sam flew at John and pushed him away from Bucky. He spun in the air, his mechanical falcon wings outstretched, one of them almost knocking the shield out of Johns hand.
