Debbie's POV:

"The sun setting right now is truly magical."
"It is," Lou replies, looking out the glass window.
The sun, with the water reflection made Lou's eyes look just like the ocean. I couldn't help but stare into them.
"Lou, can I tell you something?" I begin. "but- real, honest."
"What do you mean by real?" she jokes splashing water at my face.
"Not a joke, not about a stupid plan."
"What is it Deb?" she says looking concerned.
"There is something I've never told you, and I've wanted to for literally 5 years now."
"What happened?" Lou asks, putting down the champagne glass.
"I didn't want to tell you because I was afraid of how you would react. I was afraid you would leave and never talk to me again. During the last heist, I was determined to tell you, but I just couldn't make myself do it."
"Deb, what is it? Tell me." Lou looked at me anxiously.
"Remember our first heist, when we first met."
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Remember we were paired together, and we had to hide in that corner for like 2 hours straight."
"Yeah.Traumatic," she says jokingly.
"In those two hours I realized that I loved you. I loved the way you talked about the things you were passionate about. I loved the way your blue eyes sparkled when you got excited about something. I loved the way your deep voice made my stomach tingle, but I love the way your mind thinks. I love the way you care for people who are important to you. Since then, I've been madly in love with you. I've tried to shake it off by dating other people and getting into crazy heists but I just can't stop loving you. It's been five years, and all I do is think of you. Think of things to do with you, and what I can do to be with you, whether it is in a heist or just hearing your voice for a split second. I thought I wasn't going to see you again, but when you texted me, I knew life was giving me the opportunity to be honest with you. No matter what the consequences of that will be. And this time I don't want this to end without me telling you the truth. And I don't know what comes next or if you will ever want to talk to me again, but I have to be honest with you."
Lou was silent, no noise came out of her lips, no expression being shown on her face.
She just looked at me, straight into my eyes.
"It's okay if you want to leave now Lou, I understand." I say.
Again no reply.
I decide it's best to leave her alone, it must be a lot to process. I turn around, ready to get out of the pool.
"Deb!" Lou says out loud.
As soon as I turn around to face her, she comes straight at me. Her lips locked into mine, her arms embracing my body. Our bare chests are touching, my hands are running along her back. I had an adrenaline rush, I couldn't believe this was happening. My body was tingling, excited, in love. Lou's legs were wrapped around me, as I held on to her as if my life depended on it. We couldn't stop, our lips were locked together. Her wet hair dripping down my bare chest as her hands caressed my thighs.
"Deb," she stops and looks at me.
I stare right back at her.
"I hate you," she says with a smile on her face as she leans back in to kiss me.
