Lou's POV:

As soon as we arrived in Bali, I could immediately feel the humid air puff up my hair. I look at Debbie and see a drop of sweat crawling down her face.
"Ew, you're sweating," I joke.
"And you look like a pufferfish," Debbie snaps back as she takes out our luggage.
"Rude," I say walking towards the door.
We walk out and were immediately greeted by large palm trees, as the warm breeze stroked our faces. We could feel the ocean air and the smell of purity and cleanliness.
"So, where are we supposed to go now?" I ask.
"I have no idea."
"So we just came here, without even having a place to stay?"
"We are millionaires Lou, we can stay wherever the fuck we want."
"Okay then, get a place."
"I'm doing it in the restaurant, can we please go eat something?" Debbie says, placing her hand on her stomach.
We got in a taxi and asked the driver to take us to the best restaurant on the island.
"Here we are," he announced with an accent.
"Thank you," I reply as we get out.
Right in front of us, there was a huge rustic restaurant named "Shore".
"This place is beautiful," Debbie says walking up the wooden stairs.
The restaurant was made of wood but had random splashes of worn-out pastel paint all over the walls. Around the restaurant, you could see the clear blue ocean, as the employees walked around in beautiful traditional outfits. We were seated on one of the farthest tables, as the restaurant was filled with people, both locals, and tourists. Regardless, we were seated right next to the ocean, the only thing separating us was the three white ropes held by wooden poles. I ordered a shrimp lasagna and Debbie got a veggie burger, they were both delicious.
"Do you like this place?" Debbie asks, handing me her phone. On her screen was a picture of a beautiful villa located on the ocean shore. It had a small pool, a balcony, and looked really homie.

"This place is amazing, book it now," I say handing back her phone.
"Yes, it looks so dreamy," Debbie says, looking at me.  Lou..?"
"Yes, Deb?"
"I just realized we never actually caught up."
"Caught up about what?"
"Just life in general, and what you did, you know, once you took off on your bike."
"Well, to be honest, I needed a new adventure."
"Didn't we all," Debbie replies, taking a sip of her water.
"I traveled around the west, trying to find something to do but it all sucked. I later went to Las Vegas and started gambling."
"I always pictured you gambling in Las Vegas,"
"It was fun. I met people who took me to underground poker games." I say with excitement.
"I bet you always lost," she says, rolling her eyes.
"You wish. What about you, what have you been up to Deb?"
"Honestly, nothing. I did absolutely nothing."
"I don't believe you" I reply, taking a bite of the leftover bread piece.
"For a while, I couldn't shake the feeling that my brother could still be alive, you know. I needed to find out"
"Yeah, I completely understand Deb, the only problem is how do we find him now?"
"If we find him" Deb points out.
"We will."
"We don't know that Lou. He might actually be dead."
"What about the letter in the box?" I ask.
"Maybe he died after that, I don't know,"
"We will figure it out," I reply.
"We have to also figure out what to do about Claude."
"What about him?" I ask.
"He is out, he will 100% come for our necks."
"And we will not let him," I joke as I throw a fake punch in the air.
Debbie laughs.
"Okay let's go to the villa." Debbie stands up and heads to the door.
