Debbie's POV:

A couple of days had gone by since we went into Claud's apartment. Nine ball was able to hack the camera system and make it seem as if it happened a couple of months ago. It was so incredible to see how easily one can make believe a fake scenario. It makes stealing so much easier. We later gave John the copy of the camera video, which shows the fake date in which it happened, so he can use it as evidence to show that we didn't steal the diamond. Instead, he can show how Daphne and I touched it because we were invited to his house, and Amita and Constance were cleaning his house.
"It's looking good," he said through the phone after leaving his office one night.
"I don't understand, did you guys not check the cameras before?" Lou asks. "You could have easily figured out we put the diamond in his jacket in the first place."
"We did check. But Claude has cameras everywhere except his closet."
"Did you know that?" Tammy asks, looking at me.
"Of course I did, I always have everything under control." I wink.
"John please continue, what did the police say when you showed them the tape," Constance asks.
"I said I checked the tapes again and found new evidence that wasn't shown last time. They totally believed it and in fact, they think that someone in the office is to blame as well."
"Why?" Amita asks, confused.
"Because the only reason this clip wouldn't have been shown is because they were trying to hide it. So they believe someone was involved with Claude, and they tried to hide this clip to hide the fact that he is to blame."
"Omg," Amita says.
"Did Claude say anything about his key missing after your date?" I ask Dauphnee.
"Oh yeah I forgot about that," Lou says sitting down on the couch interested.
"He asked me if I had seen them, he made the question sound casual but he had a very judgy tone I did not appreciate." Daphne answers.
Constance laughed.
"I said I hadn't seen it but that when he took his pants off I did see it fall down. So I told him to check under the couch or something." Daphne says.
"Okay great," I say. Everything was working as planned. "We did leave the key under the table before we left his house."
"Perfect, okay this will all work out," Tammy says pacing down the living room.
"Did any of you actually use your money?" Lou asks, looking around the room.
"Lou, don't change the subject," Tammy whispers almost annoyed.
"I don't, literally I only use it to pay for my apartment" Constance answers, ignoring Tammy's remark.
Everyone else shook their head in agreement with Constance.
"If we have so much money, can't we just pay the police to drive this case off track," Amita asks.
"That could backfire on us, we can't trust the police," I reply
"Yeah let's not risk it," Nine ball adds, "everything is working out fine."
"Or we can move far away?" Lou suggests.
"People have families," Tammy says, looking at Lou.
"Why are we even thinking about this, the plan is perfect," Rose adds.
"Yes, it's all good"
