Yesterday night you went drinking with Hawks, well more like he went drinking and you just threw money at the bartender. But that doesn't really matter. I mean you were the reason he got a really bad cold and had to miss a day of hero work. As you were recalling the events from yesterday, you got hungry and had time before your lecture started so you walked over to your kitchen to see what you've got. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
"The one time I have time to eat breakfast from home, I don't even have breakfast." You internally cry.
"I guess I'll have to go grocery shopping after class." You frown.
Well you had a few minutes to spare but you still decided to leave. There wasn't anything to do at home anyways.
There wasn't anything interesting going on. You made your way to your lecture, greeted your friends, wrote down some notes, and left. All your friends were busy today so you ended up going to the grocery store alone.
As you were going to the grocery store, you heard someone call your name.
"Hey Y/N!" Naomi calls out to you.
"Oh hey Naomi!" You turn around. She greeted you with a big hug. You stumbled back a bit from the impact, but regained your balance.
"What are you doing here?" You ask her, returning the hug with a small but warm hug.
"I was going grocery shopping!" She exclaimed.
"Oh really, so am I." You smiled as she finally let go.
"Really that's awesome, wanna go together?" She asked. "Sure I don't mind." You say. She extended her arm so you could cling on to it, taking up the offer you did. "So Y/N what do you need to buy?" She questions. "Hm, pretty much everything in the store, there's absolutely nothing in my kitchen." You say thinking of a list on the spot. "Haha you're funny Y/N." She says as she grabs a cart.
You both walk around the store picking up things and putting it in your carts. She did most of the talking, well more like bragging. You didn't want to be rude so you just smiled and nodded, silently hoping she would stop.
"So I heard you and Keigo went drinking last night." She turned to you. "Oh yeah, well he did most of the drinking, I just drank water." You shrugged.
"Aw, what's the fun if you don't even have a sip?" She questioned.
"Well I wasn't really down to go. I guess I just owed him so I agreed." You shrugged.
"Oh is that so.." She trailed off.
"Yeah. Anyways, what do you need to buy Naomi?" You questioned.
"Hm oh me? Well just a few groceries you know." She said, her eyes scanning the aisles.
You and Naomi both continued walking around. Grabbing things you both thought were necessary. Naomi kept asking questions and one of them related to your school, as you were answering her questions, you bumped into someone.
"Oh are you alright-" A familiar males voice spoke from behind.
"Y/n?" He said as he saw your face.
"Oh, Hawks." You turned around.
"Keigo!" Naomi yelled as she hugged him.
He was thrown off balance from the impact but slowly wrapped his arms around her.
"Hey Naomi!" He awkwardly said as he looked at you.
It was a bit awkward because she was drawing unnecessary attention with all the yelling but you could understand why she was doing it. It must be hard seeing your boyfriend who is always working. You just silently backed away acting like you were shopping.
"Uh hey didn't expect to see you guys here." He shushed her as people started murmuring.
"Yeah same! I just ran into Y/n so we decided to shop together! What brings you here Keigo?" She said as she clings onto his arm.
"Uh I just wanted to get some coffee from the store nearby then remembered we don't have any bread at home so I came to pick some up.." He said.
"Aw, how thoughtful, but don't worry I'm grocery shopping right now!" She said, as she moved aside to show the cart filled with half useful and other half useless stuff.
"Great.." He trailed off as his eyes made their way to your figure. You gave a small wave and he waved back. He was a bit embarrassed from sharing so much with you last night.
"Well I got to go now.." He said as he started backing away.
"Aww already?" Naomi pouted.
"Yeah, sorry but see you at home Naomi." He said as he planted a kiss on her forehead and walked out of the store.
"Well I got everything I need, how about you Y/N?" She turned to you.
"Yep I'm all good here too." You replied.
The two of you walked over to the checkout and paid for your things then went separate ways.
