It's been a week since you went shopping with Naomi. She's not that bad just brags from time to time but other than that she's a really nice person. But right now you're sadly at work, taking orders from customers, you know the usual stuff. It's been pretty busy now that the holidays have passed. Akira, Yuu, and You were working hard plus you guys had just gotten a pay raise so it motivated you three to work even harder.
"Y/N! Could you please help the next customer please?" Akira yells from the cashier as you give the customer you were currently serving a box of muffins.
"Sure thing Akira!" You say as you rush over to the other cashier.
Yeah it was pretty busy, but it was slowly dying down. Just a few customers now.
"Well Y/N you have to lock up the bakery this whole week, so enjoy." Yuu said as he and Akira slid on their coats.
"Yeah I knew that a one week break would lead to something like this! " You mumble loud enough for the two of them to hear. They both chuckle in response. "
Well see you tomorrow Y/N!" Akira waved as they both made their way out of the bakery.
It was almost closing time.
You walk over to the back to grab some cleaning supplies as you hear the bells jingle. You had a feeling you knew who it was. Ever since you started working two days ago they would come at the same time everyday, before it got annoying but now you enjoy the company as you close up.
"Welcome Mr. Number two, would you like anything from our delightful bakery?" You say as you look up to see the same crimson winged hero waiting by the door with his hands in his pocket.
"Hm, well Ms. Y/N, maybe I'll take a slice of apple pie." He said taking out some money.
"Here you go, your slice of apple pie." You smile as you take the money and get back to sweeping.
"So how's life back at work?" He asks you.
"Not bad, I got a pay raise so that's nice." You say as you start sweeping.
"Oo a pay raise, that's nice." He smiles.
"So how's school?" He questions.
"Hm going pretty good. How's life treating you?" You question him.
"Hm, well.." He trails off and starts to ramble about random things that happened at work.
9:15pm
You have done all your bakery chores. You guys exchanged laughters, small debates over which is better, and interesting topics. Overall it was fun to have someone to talk to as you lock up.
