(A/n: this chapter will focus mostly on Mariano & Delores.)
No One's POV
It has been six months after the ceremony for the rebuilding of the casita. Mariano is walking through town to the ring shop & he enters. "I'd like to buy an orange sapphire ring for my future wife." He says to the women behind the counter. She nods & shows him several rings & he picks the one he liked the most & bought it. He then put it in a custom made ring box. He thanked the women & walke out the ring store, putting the ring boz away carefully in his pocket. He then walked through town once again & went up to casita & asked the house for Delores. She came to the door shortly after he asked. "Hey my love, would you like to go on a date with me?" Mariano asked, with a grin on his face. "Of course! I'd love to! Just let me get ready! I'll be right back dear!" Delores then leaves & comes back after a few minutes.

Mariano gazes at Delores as she come down the stairs & wonders how the heck he got such a wonderful woman. He then snaps out of it as she comes closer to him then he takes her left hand in his & takes her on a day to remember. They have a picnic date then then take a ni e walk though town & Mariano buys her all kinds of gifts & then the have a movie date then finally they go to somewhere special. Mariano takes her to his favorite place.

It was a calming river scene & Delores was shocked that it was there in the encanto. Mariano then gets down on one knee, & as Delores turns to him, her face turns to shock. "Delores Madrigal, the love of my life, the best thing ever, keeper of my heart.. Will you marry me?" Mariano says, pulling out the box & opening it to reveal a beautiful ring.

Delores starts to cry happy tears & she can't help but feel as though her heart is exploding with joy. "Yes! Yes I will Mariano!" She exclaims, joy clearly in her voice. Mariano then gets up & puts the ring on her right ring finger & he kisses her passionately. They stay like that for a while before they decided they needed to go. Delores & Mariano then go back to the Casita & tell everyone in La Familia Madrigal. Everyone celebrates & congratulates the engaged couple. Now it was time to plan out the wedding.
